even if i had friends and guildies pooling their resources... i still woudnt get to +10 any time soon
most ppl who have anywhere near as many fails as i do quit the game a long time ago.

and on your comment about my other thread being locked... that thread didnt have any purpose... this one does.

I don't see the difference. In the first thread you leave nothing to discuss, you just want to complain about how many failed enchants you've had. In this thread you're doing the same thing, you just made a new thread because your old one got locked.

If you wanted to do something productive rather than complain on the forums then leaving nothing to discuss you could go to one of the many other enchanting threads and offer your idea on how the enchanting system could be improved, or you could save your gold and fodder in preparation for the enchanting update.

lol calimar... someone who had his guild pay for his +12 shouldnt be talking... besides.. not many ppl are nearing 200 fails... im going for a record

Some people have friends and pool resources (they helped me get my +12, then we all helped our sorcerer, then our warrior, etc.). Others are whiny little children with nobody to help them who make dramatic forum posts for no purpose other than "look at me look at me I'm special, waaaaah." I'm not really sure what your point was...is it that you have nobody to help you so you have a right to rant? That's a really crappy point...

And you have no clue how many people are nearing that many fails. Do you have records of everyone's enchanting? Nope, you just want attention and somewhere to vent your little frustrations.

Like I said, it's RNG, get over it. And they're working on changes to the enchanting system anyways, so instead of wasting your money as if you have absolutely no choice then complaining about it, you could start saving your gold and fodder for that update.

I'm actually surprised at the extent trolls will go to for such a fail troll. They sat there to grab my name within a minute of the server going up. The name that I've had since beta on a lv60 character with tons of play time. I totally won't get my appeal approved or anything :( I got trolled hard lol

But other than that, out of my 7 characters only 1 other was a duplicate and I managed to get it, so overall I'm pretty happy.

Maybe someone wanted to be Calimar when game launched, and you beat them to it. Now they had a chance to get it too.

That could be, but I think it's a lot more likely that it's a troll, since a couple members of my static learned about a month back that a few people took our names on other servers in case there ever was a merge, and I was told just last night "Hey Calimar, I took your name on BC lol"

Do you have any advice for sub 5% (assuming you didn't just use Kelsaik weapons and pray for a lucky proc)? My group is getting her low pretty consistently, but the fight seems to turn really RNG when she gets her permanent speed and damage boost. If she decides to spam attacks like tail and bomb it's easy, but if she decides to spam diving into the ground and follow it up with the debuff swap while everyone is too far to get away in time...well, I just don't know what to do.

I'd really appreciate some advice


I wish i had something good to tell besides pray to the rng XD.

Mystics are much better than people give them credit for. With a Mystic my group has done FoK HM, BT HM, KN HM, AC HM, and Manaya's Core to sub-5%. In fact, I prefer Mystic in almost every situation. People just spend so much time QQing about how Mystics are underpowered that they don't take the time to get better.

For the queen, ya. The DPS race is really close without any T14 weapons, and it's too dangerous for a Mystic to constantly run in for Titanic Wrath on that fight. But FoK HM, BT HM, KN HM, and AC HM are all done without Priest buffs, and the queen could be done without Priest buffs or Titanic Wrath if just one of us had an enchanted T14 weapon (too bad the drop rate on AC HM is ridiculously low).

I stand by my statement that people don't give Mystics enough credit.
