Remember, you didn't miss because the target was too small, you missed because you didn't aim well enough. You didn't get hit because you are too big, you got hit because you didn't move out of the way.
Are you saying that realism justifies stuff? okay then like 80% of the female charecters should die in one hit because their not wearing proper armor.
I wouldn't complain. I'd still play female anyways. The goal to surviving is to not get hit. Whether its 1 hit or 5 hits, it doesn't matter if you play well. I could only blame myself if I die.
Regardless, my point wasn't that it was realistic and therefore okay, it was that YOU are responsible for getting hit, not the hit box. Its just as easy to move out of the way as a Baraka as it is for an Elin. If you can't read the queues, don't begin to move early enough, and get hit, that's your fault.
Game would be retarded easy if you could attack and move at the same time. I would never get hit. Hell the only reason I get hit now is because I figure I can get off an attack and still move out of the way before the enemy attacks. If you took that away, there would be no excuse as to why you got hit.

I would say its a HEAVY armor Tank/heal hybrid, with magical attacks/heals. LC with a hammer or perhaps? Sounds like a Paladin or shadow/knight to me. Which would fit the game quite nicely.
It's actually insanely useful trust me you'll appreciate it at launch. Killed all the quest mobs or looted all the quest items? Too many people in your channel competing for quest mobs and items? switch channels, finish quest.

Except from my experience in JP-Tera, you cannot use skills in the water, LC attack included, you cannot jump in the water, and you cannot go under the surface of the water.
So unless you're just running away scared, there's no benefit.

That may be true, but it has its price. Elin and Popori have the shortest reach in the game because of this. Makes sense really. Although I believe this only affects melee classes. It can still be pretty significant.
I am still going to play Elin, but I will say, the racials are completely useless. Toggle abilities aside (they have long cooldowns anyways, the passives for Aman, Baraka, Castanic, and Human are really strong in my opinion. High elf and Elin/Popori really got the shaft when it comes to that.
Aman: More amani toughness. When their health is low, damage resistance kicks in. Passive.
Sounds pretty good.
Baraka: are built sturdily, like their ancestors. Their stamina never falls below 20%, even if they die. Passive.
Sounds pretty good.
Castanic: When attacking from behind, they have a greater chance to critically hit. Passive.
Sounds pretty good.
Human: When fighting other players, humans take less damage when they're low on health. Passive.
Sounds pretty good.
High Elf: Elven mental focus means they regenerate some mana whenever they resurrect. Passive.
Sounds pretty good. IF YOU PLAN ON DYING. /facepalm
Elin/Popori: Elins are at home in water, and faster than other races.
No combat in water. Utterly useless passive. I guess its not bad if you feel like playing some RP swimming.
Elin. Cute little creatures that are the most unsuspecting murderers. Can't wait to slap some big tough Aman.
