I hope that filtered word is "polite".

I'll give you a hint: It's a common colloquialism for "cat".

I didn't know "polite" was a name for cats.
As another member and officer of DGKK, I wholeheartedly supported the decision to turn off PVP in Arcadia. The level range of content in Arcadia is where every class puts together its full skillset and is introduced to the concept of BAMs, party roles and dungeons. The difficulty ramps up enough that having bored lv.60s taking potshots at people on the Lumbertown bridge or the entrance to Crescentia is just an unnecessary frustration.

GVGs are not turned off in Arcadia. If you wish to engage in low-level PVP, why not get your guild leader to declare a war on another guild?

Yeah, hopefully GM's ban the vanarch's account soon.

Why would a GM ban a guild leader for using the vanarch powers granted to him by winning an election? "Turn off PVP" is one of the available region management options; there is nothing illicit or exploitative about a guild deciding to use it.
I hope that filtered word is "polite".
Dragongod Knightkings didn't "disable PVP". We enhanced the low-level experience.

Any insight into why DGKK decided not to run this election?

Most of DGKK's officers and members are on hiatus, waiting for new content. We decided to forgo running this time around because we didn't think we would be able to keep a region running at this time.
I've decided that unlike my threads on the first and second races, not going to post about the third vanarch contest. There are currently too many irregularities in the GVG competition portion for it to be worthwhile to analyze.

Thanks for the support and encouragement for the prior threads.
1st Vanarch Election: an exploit involving server transfers allows people to vote multiple times. A P H O T I C comes in second in their region.
2nd Vanarch Election: the exploit is closed. A P H O T I C comes in sixth.

I know it could just be a coincidence...

I'm a little confused how for North Shara, #3 and #4 places have 11.8% but #5 has 11.9 % ;-)

Typo?

As mentioned on the bottom of the map, the percentages are posted on a several-hour delay -- these percentages are from late on June 20. The standings sometimes conflict with the percentages due to the time lapse.

We're in the home stretch now. Voting ends on Friday night, so cast your ballots soon if you haven't yet.

The Northern Shara race remains competitive: Will Not Fix rises to the top of the four-way tie and receives Val Tirkai, with Bloodline close behind in Lorcada; Reign of Chaos drops to fifth, retreating to Sylvanoth, and APHOTIC remains below the threshold.

South Shara and Arun remain quiet, with no seats currently in contention; it would be a safe assumption to make that these will be the winners on Friday night, barring a massive upset.
