Lol, you have no idea how business works. Let me give you an example.. Anytime a game goes on sale for Steam, the games that allow Steam to reduce their price the most sell the most, which in turn is ALWAYS an increased revenue for the company (you can google this if you don't believe me.) The product is already made, be it a video game or a weapon skin. If you sell it to ten times more people at one third the price, guess which party makes more money?
On a side note: I actually own a chain of dollar type stores, so, yea..I guess you could say we do sell stuff for thrift store prices ...actually below. Lol

I have a job making over 6 figures a year. It's not only about the cost, it's about the value of the items. They are not justified at at 80 dollars for a full set. It should be 2.99 per skin and 15 for the pack. That's marketing 101
I'm willing to bet if you really make over 6 figures a year, whoever pays you that much didn't get there by charging people thrift store prices for their goods or services. That's business 101.
