Depth? There's a cookie cutter glyph build for every class for every situation and the rest are RNG filler, just like crystals, and rerollable stats on weapons and armor. There is no depth in character customization.
Semantics. The point is that you're not rewarded for using different builds, you're only rewarded for using the same build as everyone else.
