I would say the most 'realistically proportioned' models in the game, are the Castanic males, and the Human females. And those are a stretch, and still somewhat unrealistic, because their bodies are perfect. Female Castanics and Elves are sort of unnaturally petite or slender. I mean 'attractive' in-game, but if you took those measurements and extrapolated it to real-life, they would have 17 inch waists or something.
Human male proportions are a bit unnatural and cartoony, even by bodybuilder standards...their deltoids and limbs are oversized/apish.

Playing on Frost Reach, as it only seemed appropriate.
I think I've used a racial maybe 10 times total. A few of those times it's been by accident. I could probably unbind it from my bars and i wouldn't even notice.
I have no idea myself. I created a Aman Lancer, and love the look. But lore about the race seems to be hard to find?
Really? The horns are just elaborate headdresses? That would certainly mean that the males and females resemble each other more closely; with the horns they look like entirely different species.
Any mmo is meant to be played with people that: 1) you know 2) you actually like, and the optional 3) are good at what they do. If you have that, as any class in this game, you've won half the battle.
I decided to try Tera and brought around 7 of my closest mmo friends into the game with me. We all talked about it and decided to roll different classes, so we could have options in end game content.
I decided to roll priest, and let me tell you, I have been having a blast with it. My friends and my guild don't prefer mystics over priests or the other way around. They are both very capable of doing end game content. Just a different toolset for it.
Most of us have reached 60 already, and we have been having fun grouping and doing dungeons together, so a) we are skipping the horrid LFD tool and the baddies uninformed morons you encounter in these runs, b) we make it work with whatever we have available at any given time.
Personally. This whole debate is stupid and every thread about P v M seems to end up in the same my [filtered] is larger than yours battle. Play the class YOU enjoy, not what class you think will be most useful for a couple of tools you will encounter.
And yes. We timed a couple of runs between a Priest and a Mystic, and the double crit buff doesn't make a world of difference. Yes, it is ultimately faster to run with a mystic if you want to farm content, but not so gamebreakingly faster than you absolutely need to do it with a mystic or you are fked forever. So relax. You will be needed, people will want you in their groups, granted you prove you are good with your class.
The rare ocurrences where I had to use LFD/IMS at level cap, I've yet to have people giving me a hard time about the class I chose to play. Maybe I was just lucky?
But really, get a steady group of friends, and you'll do fine in the end.
Nice post. Just sayin'.
From the waist up, they are rockin. :) From the waist down, not so much.
Designed attractively enough...but they just don't match up to the absurdly hot Castanic, Elven, and Human models.
Attractive races are always the most popular. Heck one of the intended results of introducing the Blood Elf race into WoW wast to help shift the huge Horde/Alliance population imbalance.
