Considering how many people I already see @ midday on my server with the costumes, it's obviously not a issue for quite a lot of people. If there was no demand prices would be a lot lower, but as long as quite a lot want them and will pay for them it's not going to stop.

Not to mention the almost constant spam from people opening the maid boxes. They are making bank on this.
