Any player that doesn't use Area chat to find a group is going to be a bad one

You are a tool.

You HAVE TO lower the drop rate on loot from bosses dramatically. The world is becoming flooded with golds and blues.
Something wrong with being dressed in a blue without having to run dungeons 100+ times? Something wrong with using more blues to enchant the blues you already have without having to run dungeons 200+ times?

I have run SM 20 times on one of my toons and STILL dont have the complete blue set for her OR a gold of anything...

WHY do you want players to run dungeons 100+ times to even GET a blue, and then 200+ more times to be able to ENCHANT the blue they got??

Not sure I understand that statement. You can do it with common (white) gear. You don't need a blue to enchant a blue. I got my blue chest to +6 using only white gear as the sacrifice.
blue has higher chance to not fail enchant...less money spent on alkahests if using blue gear to enchant...

Don't understand what that has to do with this crica.
The gear is BoE - Use the Broker to sell what you win that you wont use and buy what you dont win that you will use.

I dont understand what all the crying over loot in LFD groups is about?

Did you read the first post? The example used is the lootmaster ninja-changing the loot rules to "free for all" right before the last boss dies, and then quickly grabbing everything.

So yeah, not sure what your post is referring to.

OIC. My bad. Yeah, needs to have a pop-up for each player to be able to accept or deny any changes to the looting.

All gear before end-game is BoE - I roll on everything and out of what I happen to win I sell on the Broker what I don't use in order to buy off the Broker what I will use that I did not happen to win.

Personally, I believe they left the loot system in X-server LFD groups unlocked in Beta in order to gather "usage data" and come launch the X-server LFD loot system will be locked to the settings that were most commonly used during Beta.

That's my working theory, anyway...

As a crafter I would like to see a bit more restraint on drops, especially with a well consolidated Auction House system. If there is a huge supply of equipment drops it'll drive the market prices down and crafters will be losing money on everything they create.

It is difficult enough to contemplate crafting as a viable pastime when the drops are as good if not better, without adding on to this difficult situation a free flowing supply of said drops to force crafters pretty much out of the market.
Crafting is just something "extra" to grind in Tera - quest gear is MUCH better then any crafted gear, plus it takes WAY less time to get it then it does to gather resources and money to craft with - dungeon blue/gold gear is WAY better then questing gear and ADDS to the crafting or questing grind - whichever grind you picked.

Crafting is for players who enjoy the crafting grind - they get crafted gear for their grind.

Questing is for players who enjoy the questing grind - they get quest gear for their grind.

Dungeons are for players who enjoy the dungeon grind - they get dungeon gear for their grind.

And finally, there are pure hardcore grinders - they get token gear for their grind.

There are four options to getting gear in the game - it all comes down to personal preference of which grind is up your alley because there is NO WAY at all to do ALL of the grinds and be able to equip all of the different gears - by the time you craft your gear, you will have outleveled any other gear from the other grinds, etc.

At end game, however, this may all change if crafted gear is better then quest gear or dungeon gear - I have not hit end game to know if it changes or not.

But as far as leveling is concerned - crafting is just another way to get gear that is not, by design, supposed to be better then quest or dungeon gear.
