Daijoubu's Post History

Dear lord, it's like trying to have a conversation with a broken record.
Either way, I've put in my 2 cents.
I still have nothing against AZA guild members.
Like I said, we're all individuals before guild members.
I've met good people from guilds from both alliances.

As for your personal attack, Jellad, passive aggressive is no worse than frontloaded insults.
I'd prefer the latter, actually.
Rest assured, I won't take it out on anyone else but you.
To me, you're simply some nobody whose opinion means nothing to me.
That's what i meant by "We're individuals before guild members before alliance members."
I won't hold your guild members or alliance accountable for your words. Just yourself.
Where do you even get "I'm just here for myself" from any of that?
I said I play for fun and for friends.
Did I limit that to anything?
I said I could care less about the alliance.
I would be fine if our guild didn't sit in one.
Honestly, all this drama isn't even worth it.

As for you and your alliance, do you group with them on a regular basis without IMS?
I barely know anyone outside of my guild.
I said I'm a lancer. I tank dungeons for guildies all the time if they need gear or badges from ToT.
Please don't judge me before you even know anything about me.
And that's exactly why people are calling you Fox News.
You're trying to prevent something that isn't going to happen.
It's not like saying, "Okay so there's been a bomb threat. Let's wait until something blows up before we worry."
It's like saying, "No one's threatened us with a bomb, but lets strip search every passenger even though they have no intention of bombing us because the potential is there."

This thread like many others like it just need to die. Everyone's said their piece, its time to move on. The way I see it, like so many other threads is that SPECTRE people will continue to troll, and the AZA will always be defending itself. You want actions to speak louder than words fine, but truly, I want to say that 90% of the accusatory remarks in these threads are from SPECTRE trolls.

@Destian, please stop with the namecalling, Shills and Walmart guild. It's not who we are as an alliance, I cannot rightfully defend us not being a group that name callers with you doing that. I respect your opinion, and how you feel, and I also agree with mostly everything you've said, but you need to realize you are being trolled, and people are just trying to get a rise out of you.

I think that this is yet another thread that due to trolling will need to be locked, like many others this is getting completely out of hand.

See, it's comments like this that keeps this going.
Where in my post was I trolling?
And why are all the people who are "trolling" from SPECTRE while all the positive feedback are from AZA?
It probably hasn't even occurred to you that some of these people who don't like AZA aren't a part of SPECTRE.
I'm sure alot of the people who are against SPECTRE isn't in AZA.
This whole thing is stupid.
You're still winning a vanarchy.

You guys are still fighting some imaginary threat.
Once guilds start jacking up taxes to 15% and doing everything you guys are "against", then you can say everything you're saying.
But so far, for our guild at least, the vanarchy isn't even a big deal.
Whether we get Isle of Dawn or Ostgarath, the taxes in our provinces will be 1% and our shops/trainers will be up.
Once everything goes to hell like you guys are claiming, then you can come back here with all these threads.
We're blatantly telling you that they'll stay 1%.
You guys are saying you have proof that we won't keep it at 1%.
Until it does go up, your word means nothing other than hearsay and conjecture.

Oh and for the record, that pvp tournament wasn't funded with raised taxes.
It was sponsored by the guilds in the alliance, paid for out of pocket by guildies who wanted to sponsor a fun event for the community.
We didn't even run a team ourselves.
Stop portraying all the guilds as one single minded zerg entity.
We are all individuals before guild members before alliance members.
I could care less about anyone in the alliance.
I play for fun and to play with friends.
I suggest you try doing the same.
I'm just a lancer in Something Terable, and I'm positive we have absolutely no plans to raise taxes and take over the Tera world.
Girl and our group of friends do HM's and dungeon together everyday, and we spend most of our time just fooling around and playing the game.
Girl repeatedly goes afk in dungeons to make time for people with questions or comments in whispers,
So much so that it's become an ongoing joke for us.
If you check the vanarchy statement, you can see that if Girl had her way, taxes would be at 0%.
I'm not sure why you take NMTC's word as irrefutable proof that everyone in the alliance is going to jack up prices once we "control" everything.
If guilds in the alliance do it, fine, go shop somewhere else.
I'd probably give Girl a hard time (as would other members) if she jacked up taxes.
In case you didn't know, guild members need supplies too.
You'd be screwing your own guildies as well as the community with high taxes.
I'm pretty sure no one in our guild would simply sit back with taxes at high rates.
Most of us are broke from enchanting.

As you can see, knights of velika or whatever do their own thing with their own tax rates.
This is a game.
We don't dictate how others play, because quite frankly we have no right to.
I understand that it's inconvenient when you don't have vanarchy shops or trainers, as I've raged at it while leveling my alts as well.
But they were guilds not in either alliance.
I have nothing against AZA guild members, and in fact when I do IMS into a group of them, this whole thread is a joke that most of us can laugh about and break the ice.

But honestly, this thing needs to stop.
You guys have done your part with 1% taxes and full uptime on shops/trainers.
So have we.
Your scenario of us taking over and doing whatever we want is not happening.
Just take a look at the election results.
NMTC is still in first place without the alliance.
In fact, Believe (which is in our alliance) is in 2nd place.
That should be enough proof that the community has more voting power than our alliance.
The fact that Girl has 37%+ votes in the continent with the most running guilds just goes to show that she's done a good job.
If your accusations that the alliance could take over every poll had any merit at all to it, wouldn't the votes be the same across the board?

Personally, I don't care about the alliance.
I'm a relatively casual player.
I don't even do dailies.
I do some ToT runs, some FoK/BT runs and maybe a HM FoK run.
Other than that, I afk, chat with friends or level an alt.
I don't care about the extra movement speed on my mount.
Just let it die already.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that's sick of these posts and would rather just play the game.
If you really want better standings in polls, try doing what Girl did.
Run your area quietly, stay out of the drama and just be friendly with the people who talk to you.

Actually, don't do what Girl did.
She used 8K policy points once by misclicking "Change" instead of "Extend" like 10 times.
Had to cancel dinner plans with friends to go farm sloths for 2 hours to make up for the mistake, lawl.

As for some of the 1% almost getting a praise on this list by being a 1 percenter.. take a look at what shops they have open. Something Terable, a guild that has been 300 since before official launch can't even open the trainers or trade brokers.

It's not difficult to get Policy Points, it takes the guild members to do specific quests, so for those who voted for the high ( self ) praised guilds cause they thought the smaller guilds couldn't offer up the shops and such, think again for next time.

Might want to go to the zone and check things out before you look stupid/ignorant.
The reason the edict tab doesn't even list those are because they're open by default since it's a low level town.
And the reason we took it wasn't because it was easy to keep up, but because we felt low level players should always have the highest quality of gameplay available to them at the lowest tax rates.
Honestly, what profit do you think we'll make from a level 10 zone at a 1% tax rate?
It was to stop douchebags from hiking up tax rates for those services.
It's hard enough saving money as a low level character without extra burdens.
Despite what you or others think, we're not out to try to ruin your gaming experience.
Even with that, we'll do what we can for the community.
We might not have flashy pvp tournaments or asinine rides from Castanica to Velika, but we'll always have the lowest tax rates.
The fact that you let this guy stay in your guild is more than proof of your stance on this.
So this guy's apology consists of basically, "I don't like trolls on the internet so I (along with a bunch of other like minded individuals) am just going to bully them into being nice" and "Oh, maybe that was a mt, whoops"?
This is acceptable to you?
Of course this is the actions of one member of your guild.
Oh my bad, an OFFICER of your guild.
But the fact is that he drags your name through the mud with his actions.
I thought the whole selling point of your AZA was to filter out garbage like him through your vigorous screening processes.
Obviously you'd like to stop shining light on this and sweep it under the rug.
You give him a slap on the wrist and take away his officer status.
What does that even do in this game?
It's basically 5 man content.
There are no extra guild controls.

You guys are disgusting.

Oh. My IGN is the same as the one on the forum.
You'll see I'm from Something Terable.
You know, one of those zerg guilds that accepts anyone and everyone as long as they can breathe and aren't a complete window licker?
I'd still prefer a zerg guild to one that knowingly harbors an individual like this guy.
Oh. And this is my personal opinion and not one of my guild's.
I heard that excuse works these days.
At least I'm just zerg member #237 and not an overmind.
Congratulations you guys!
Great group of people.
Best of luck with your new territory.

I'd made a double rainbow joke somewhere, but I'd probably just feel dirty afterwards :(
I like how the "zerg" guilds that the Anti-Zerg Alliance called out repeatedly are the first ones to open up everything with 1% tax rates, while you guys open with 2.5-4%.
You called us out and asked what we've done for the community, and there's your god damned answer; through actions, not words and dog whistling.
Maybe I'm just the old fashioned type, but I think setting the lowest tax rates are a hell of a lot better for the community than a zerg run along the countryside spamming channels.

Edit: I see RoH has set to 1% at least. My apologies and my thanks, Pungy.

Please explain how to be "active" in a server's community.
Is it by talking in area chat/lfg?
Since when has it been a bad thing to keep to yourself and play with guildies?
I myself pug all the time, but I enjoy playing with people I know more than random people.
I'm still a relatively new member, and I joined after having a positive experience with their members.
We can afford to be laid back because we have a large guild already.
People apply on their own without us having to actively recruit because they've had a positive experience with us.
If they're interested, we talk to them first to get a feel for them.
Girl talks to them too and adds them if they're ok with going with the flow.
Does that really make us a zerg guild?
Should we be more selective about members based on their gear?
Ask for a resume?
We have a variety of players; from people striving for endgame content as well as people who level at their own pace, enjoying the game for what it is.
A game.
Is that really hardcore?
We have people in all level ranges.
We don't scream at them to get to 60.
Don't you want an active guild for your vanarch?
You need policy points to keep things open.

As for the election statement, it was obviously a joke.
Did it really seem that malicious? Were you that offended by it?
It was to relieve all the tension built up around the whole mess of a political system.
We enjoy jokes. Look at our posters and statements.
Do yourself a favor and laugh at something once in a while.
Take a look at all the other statements.
They say the same. damn. thing. Which isn't a bad thing. Just boring.
If we were to tax the hell out of the vendors and be as ruthless as some people are spreading on lfg/area chats, then we'd basically just screw ourselves for the next vanarch.
Sorry, we're not that short sighted nor that malicious.

We have the most praises on the server.
Not by a small margin either.
Girl has already explained that we will use them to benefit the community.
Not like the praises do anything for us as a guild.
It's to help the province.
People will randomly praise us because they had a good experience with us in a pug or simply because we were nice to them.

Now, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're just a bystander with his own twisted way of reasoning out his own "logic".
But perhaps you should consider getting to know us before branding us with some label that you arbitrarily decided upon.
At the very least, we don't feel the need to spam lfg and area chat with slander on opposing guilds.
We prefer to keep to ourselves and keep it clean.
It's a damn game. No need to be so cut throat about the whole thing.
The graphics are beautiful and the combat is damn fun.
No need to suck the life out of it with all this political bull[filtered].
