Deathticles's Post History

Tera reminds me of that sexy lady that promises a good time and next thing you know you wake up in an ally with your wallet gone and your butt hurts.

Like people like shiny why Tera haz no shinies? D:

Pwi sucks game play wise and graphics wise yet rakes in the money cause it haz shinies.

not rocket science people like bling no one wants to grind for ages to make glow sticks that don't even glow the color you want.

Tera needs more content.

lol had a brain fart on image posting.

As my post at the start of this thread reads they still have a chance at getting it right by adding that content when they go f2p but if they don't and soon it will be a repeat of how the p2p community left when they reached the non existent endgame.

P2P F2P neither matters if a game becomes boring due to lack of content you shelve it.

Hopefully they learned and don't add too many servers with F2P, if they do they are just cruising for the same thing in a few months.

Agreed when you open a game for the first time or transition over to f2p for a player influx it however never hurts to have the extra servers ready to handle the load to make for a reduce in Que times and get everyone playing.

lol great success as in only the diehard players stuck around and the mass player base kicked the bucket. "You must gauge success in very miniscule amounts" Whoopee Tera's going f2p "because with the massive success of reducing servers to 3 they're going bankrupt"

ROFL

"ITS A SUCCESS"

Although yes they had too many servers to begin with also they should have been more focused on the things that make a game work smoothly than being blinded by the possible wealth of success.

You are arguing a counter point to one that I did not make. I will concede that you have successfully trolled me.

Really? you stated lowering the server count to 3 has been a great success. My point was if by success you mean they were failing badly and bleeding players then yes it "successfully" saved what was left of the game. That being less than 25% the original player base is anything but a success. However they did start with too many servers but saving ones own [filtered] is anything but a success in business. When your skipping across the finish in last on your [filtered] you don't jump up screaming victory. Well you could but you'd look like an idiot for doing so.

Insist it only a profession if its "Profitable" ?

lol well ima go back to making stuff in Tera on my sorry broke [filtered] toon.

Btw i like crafting but its only good for making yourself stuff the profit vs mat prices is a joke at least we have the crafting quests before they put those back in it was beyond bad. Now you can get all crafts to max level to find their mostly pointless yay!
Short answer "NO"

However i wrote a lengthy email to support recently on this and it can change if they add the much needed options this game severely needs. Such as more area to do stuff endgame more endgame instances more world zones and more weapon effects things that add to the almost non existent "wow" factor endgame. As of now the game looks beautiful combat is great and the game play from level 1-60 is enjoyable however at 60 its like falling off a cliff. You fall into a serious rng grind with not enough areas to actually explore that you haven't seen already with weapon effects that are terrible and sadly most f2p mmos have better endgame and skill/weapon effects than Tera at endgame you hit the wall. Problem with this is after 2 months you become bored and look for something else to play at endgame Thus the mass exodus of the p2p community to something with more content. This is easily avoidable if the basics are met and constantly improved Tera has been very sluggish at fixing the basics. Such as guild management still blows your friends list doesn't move from alt to alt you cant move as you use a skill animation which is abit harder to fix as its hard coded into the game now. The game still has massive potential but plain and simple if they don't step it up next month after 3 months we should see the same exodus of players due to boredom at the end of their leveling experience with a gear grind and almost nothing to do with the enchanted weapons your grinding for.

I'm a very harsh critic but the reality in business is you cant fix what you don't know to be broken people have to say "hey" this stuff needs to be fixed and if no one does or the company ignores the customers too much their business falls short of its potential.

I hope they can bring their A game this time around id hate to see a mmo with such potential fall out of favor due to lack of proper "common sense".

That being said I'm hoping they can get their act together in life you rarely get a second shot at something.

I'm rooting for them but I'm skeptical after what Ive seen since beta up to now.
Lol To be a good Pen tester you have to know how your net works i can run every diagnostic any Isp can from my laptop when ever i want when they were testing i ran my own it all checks out. Comcast has always jumped to fix any issues i have because im one of the few people who still holds a contract with them from when they ate Adelphia. and im on Fiber optics here sending and receiving on 6 channels plus everything else works online and my isp has nothing blocked on my IP. Just to clarify i don't game on my laptop i game on my desktop. Tho i could on my laptop is besides the point.

Already stated its not my ISP i ran tests with them 20 min ago everything checks out and everything can get online i Work On computers and I do Pen Testing so i know its not my hardware and i know its not my net and i know its not a firewall issue.
Edited by: Deathticles 11 months ago - Reason: Even ran the game from outside my DMZ meaning no router firewalls to test it.
