Thanks for picking this up, Biju! As a few folks who've poked me know, I've been real busy with RL stuff, and unable to play nearly as much as I'd like. However, I've been poking other guilds about hosting events on Friday nights to hopefully keep the tradition up =) Crux Knights has always participated in our events, so we gave them first dibs (though any other guilds who would like to try their hand at this until a server-event calendar is set up, please poke me so I can possibly help give you some support!).

As for 6/29's event, I'll post the ghetto map for folks interested in the event who may not have come out before:

It's a good read, and fairly accurate, but suffers from the usual problem I see when people post this in FFA PvP games: most people are unskilled and prefer to zerg, and zerg leaders tend to have a zerg mentality. Sadly, the only thing that breaks a zerg is a more aggressive zerg, be that larger numbers or unsavory means (I highly suggest and guilds looking to run for Vanarch by force quickly adopt some stricter recruitment methods; I've already seen guilds claim that they lost a GvG due to a rival planting an alt in their guild and getting farmed).

The other thing is that zergs come and go because of this. Those who play(ed) Darkfall, for example, saw the Hyperion zerg, Goon zerg, Death... well, that turned into a civil war, but you get the idea. It'll rotate, just as we've already seen it starting to do. Being an invincible winner is boring, especially for skilled players, so once the challenge is over, they'll move to greener pastures for the next challenge.

Wow, I didn't see this one coming! Thanks for the recap on specific guilds and regular folks in attendance! I didn't get to see all those outfits between coordinating the event, private messages, and keeping up with the Q&A!

Thanks to everyone who came out tonight! Between the other event and the nexus, I was worried it'd be a small event, but we had quite the turnout, especially in terms of potential vanarchs.

Event's tonight! Yes, we know Divine has an event at the same time and some vanarchs won't be present (or possibly late). At the very least, it gives people more options for what to do tonight =)
