drop to block.

Instead of drop to block, how about some damage resistance during charging ? Like 50% during thunderstrike and such.

Axes block half as much as a lancer shield on a good day(and for good reason too, it's not a shield). In that situation you'll start to see Berzerkers not even bother to block outside of the big big attacks(knockdown) versus charge-and-release.

. Anyway, they're too slow.

They would just need to make/edit certain glyphs to increase their speed.

I think Zerkers should be able to tank. They wear heavy armor, can block, have nice aoe. What they would need to do is to make glyphs that make certain berserker moves to add threat. That way they wouldn't be able to glyph for optimized dps and tank as well.

Why should berserkers get to be optimized for dps AND tanking? I don't see why I can't crit with my lance for 30k+, thus I don't see why they should be able to do that AND tank.

If we're talking a glyph that increases threat but trades damage, I'd be willing to accept that. But I do not accept the damage that they can deal plus the idea of pulling Lancer threat, sorry.

Pffft..I pull threat from lancers anyway...20k? [filtered] son..try 75k. God those feel good..I'm not even 60 yet and my axe is garbage for 54 righ tnow too.

Yeah I was being conservative, but that certainly illustrates my point.

As a Lancer, part of what annoys me so much are pugzerkers who roll on items just because it's plate, without regard for the stats on it.

I've seriously had a berzerker who didn't know english, roll against me on +aggro gloves just because it was plate. "You f'ing [filtered]." Is about the only thing that goes through my mind in these situations. It's those situations that make me contemplate simply taking the 15 minute debuff at times. Hell, I'd still be waiting in queue for less of a time than he would.

I'm pretty sure you can reroll stats.

Only on enchantable items.

Article 19
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

Also it seems my opinion is more closely related to the EULA since clearly EnMasse isn't banning people for profanities.

So forum and game policies are a human rights violation? Oh that's cute.

Nevertheless, the filter is in place so that EnMasse doesn't have to ban people for profanity. If you are continually dodging the filter, you will eventually be warned or banned. It is more of a gesture of civility than anything - coming down hard on customers is bad for business.

Ah censorship. Apparently you have no idea about this wonderful thing called Freedom of Speech. Perhaps a quick google about it will help you.

Don't like the free flow of conversation in area chat? Turn if off. Don't enforce censorship rules on a broad block of people just because your virgin pristine ears/eyes cannot deal with profanities.

Or here is even better advice. Grow the [filtered] up.

Sorry, but you have freedom of whatever you agreed to by way of the EULA/Terms of Service. You are not entitled here, your national beliefs do not apply on a privately owned forum or game. If the staff decide that they do not want you saying something on the forum, you are not going to say it. You can say it somewhere else - certainly noone is preventing that - but you will speak within the rules of the forum that you are posting on, or you will not post at all.

I've noticed that there is a particularly gigantic jump in mob durability at around level 54 and forward. As a Lancer, it doesn't become particularly difficult so much as boring. Lancers aren't exactly prime damage dealers, and it shines more painfully at this point than anywhere else in the game.
That's one of the big reasons why NCSoft mmos fail so horribly. They bring Korea to the US, and Korea is not the US. I could go into the tons of reasons of the "why" of it, like how NCSoft shows such general disdain for even bothering with western markets, or the societal differences between the two countries in general, but that's all it comes down to.

Korea and the US have different expectations for what they want in a game, but NCSoft tries to blanket one approach onto every market, the Korea approach. And it doesn't work. The Korea approach to mmos bombs almost universally in any other part of the world. But the En Masses of the NCSoft games that bring them over here are really only allowed to do localization.

I don't quite think it's going to be the case here, I'd like to think En Masse has more of a sway in how the western version comes out, because it has already been changed quite a bit from KTera. The amount it has been changed already for western audiences does lead me to believe that Bluehole is a company that is willing to give their partners a good amount of leeway in making sure the game is a success in other markets.

So?

?

Nothing to say? Don't say anything then.

It's great you finished the dungeon, but do you think it matters if you're first? It really doesn't, not at all. This isn't a competition, no one was racing. Coming to brag on the forums proves you think you did something extraordinary. It's great you finished the dungeon, but why does it matter if you are first (or think you are first, considering you have zero proof that you were)?

This topic is pointless. Nothing I say can smash your ego, but at least take a step back and think about it for just a second.

How dare you talk about our internet superstars that way. How dare you.
