DrakeDragon's Post History

No one thinks saying things like that is okay. This also isn't real life, stop with that argument. Your post is worthless; you expanded on nothing at all.

this isn't real life?

There was once a very important set of rules for mmorpg's and in the last 12 years the rules have died, the most important one was this.

"It's a SERVICE. Not a game. It's a WORLD. Not a game. It's a COMMUNITY. Not a game. Anyone who says, 'it's just a game' is missing the point."

This was the LAW of online gaming, but now the majority of players don't even understand this.

a quote from a brilliant developer.

"What led me to come up with it? I don't think I came up with it at all. You see people who have been doing online games for any length of time patiently trying to get this point across to those who don't understand it. I just stated it a bit more baldly, I guess. I think the key here is that "just a game" is a common excuse used by those who want to minimize the importance of what happens online in this sort of environment. "You playerkilled me!" "Relax, it's just a game." But even if it is a game, the emotions that you feel while playing are real emotions, and the people on the other side of the screen are real people... There's also the important adjustment that traditional box software companies have to make when they publish an online world game - it really is a different business model, a different marketing challenge, a different thing altogether. You have to treat it like a service industry - like cable TV, or phone service. Ultimately, whoever is making this sort of game is making a virtual space for players to interact in. To a large extent, the game itself is superfluous. It's about the other people."

People have just forgotten that this isn't just a game, and in their selfish behavior, ruin the game, and this isn't just the players that do this, it is the virus in humanity called Greed, the company is just as much to blame, as the player base who enforce this sort of behavior.

as much i enjoy the fact that Free to play brings wonderful games to more players, the fact that it also opens up the GATES OF HELL, in the way that it allows players who shouldn't be allowed to play the games, the access too them.

Let us not forget all the recent issues the game has had, as soon as certain regions were unblocked, and the game became Free to play.

Free to play removes a lot of the Red Tape protection, and allows more and more players in that can hardly even be considered human, with their way they behave.

There are people like this in every culture, and region of the world, however, in the recent months, it has become very obvious that any game that is free to play, is not worth the time and effect of the loyal and more deserving players any longer.

People like to find any and all excuses for these sorts of behavior online, however, if even a 1% of these actions took place in the lives of the people who say these things are "okay" simply because they are online, then they would quickly have a change of heart in these matters.

It is rather disgusting how people can sit here and say "oh it's okay because it is online".

They never stop to think that the person on the other side of the screen is a REAL person, their feelings and emotions are REAL, their fears and experiences are REAL, and that they are REALLY being effected by the actions of others.

In short, most of the people on this game since it became Free to play, i would not ever even consider "human", solely based on their behavior in the game, their CHOICES are REAL, their thoughts are REAL, their dementia is REAL, and their actions have REAL re-actions.

I doubt your attack speed is 168% as you claim it to be. Warrior base attack speed is 120, another 17.5 from a mw weapon with double speed, 6 from a necklace, 3.2 from pristine zyrks, and 9 from a scroll. That comes out to 155.7. Even if you constantly had Energy of Stars cast, that only comes out to 160.7. Where is this extra 7.3 coming from? You also mention you heal for 1,300 per hit and do 9-12 hits per second. Assuming your speaking of Rain of Blows, that skill is only 7 attacks and has a 7 second cool down. Each hit replenishes 0.5% of your total HP which means your implying you have a total of 260,000 HP if your getting a return of 1,300 life per hit. Before calling out another player in an attempt to portray him as a troll, know what you're talking about first. Since you claim to be such an elite player, please tell us how good your gear is so we know what is needed to be able to solo hm dungeons and next time you solo bthm or achm please record it and upload it so we can see how it's done.

let me do the math for you.

4% from necklace
8% from weapon
9% from weapon
9 direct points from scroll
15% from glyph

so let's tally that up, 36% attack speed increase.

so, do 120x1.36 = 163.2 + 9 = 172

then i caluclated the odds of the glyph effect going off against amount of time used, and came up with a reasonable number, which simply removed at the very least 4 attack speed points.

very very simple math, if you knew how to use your head.

and as for the health healed per second, i'll admit my math was a little off on that, ok so i'll put the math up directly on the corrected formula.

62000 (rounded down obviously, don't care about the other few hundred hit points)
so you take 62000x0.0033 = 204

that is per hit, now i hit twice everytime i swing, and i swing around 9 times a second, so you do it like this.

204 x 9 = 1840 x 2 =3600

that is per second.

now you take that, and multiply it by 5

18400 every 5 seconds.

now i also did type, i was meaning to say i'd heal 1300 hp per second not per hit, and i even rounded that number down a bit, because it isn't 100% that i hit 9 times in a second, it is a rough estimation, it is hard to time out when hitting that fast.

so are you going to argue with basic math now? remember, these numbers have all been rounded down, the exact number down to the last hit point is unknown, i have tested it, by letting my hp drop down to 10k, and it only took around 20 seconds to fully heal myself.

***Edit***

B.S.

you are a prime example of what i'd call a child on a game.

you're thought process on my warrior is exactly like this. "If i can't do it, no one can! if you can do it! YOU MUST! show me how so i can copy and let everyone else copy me"

why the hell should i release how i do something? also, AC HM is still impossible for me to do alone, of course there are a few dungeons that are still impossible to do alone, because of their mechanics.

the math is ALL i'm showing, i'll never show what gear is required, nor how to use the gear properly, i don't HAVE! too share how i do something, get over it.

I wonder when it became a race? Getting things faster makes you more deserving? Ya know, there is this thing called personal enjoyment instead the mindless grind to cap....

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

this basically says it all.

but the fact remains, Bunny paid to have the name reservation, Kamp didn't. so why should someone who didn't pay for a feature, get to steal it away from someone who did pay for the feature?
Kampfer on 09/21/2012, 12:12 AM - view
@DrakeDragon, you have no idea what you are talking about.

First of all, you trying to reason BG being bad with one server with lag just says you haven't BG-ed much at all, if ever.
Second, I have a T13+9 PvP weapon, a +12 T13 Amani Masterwork as showin in the screenshot, and a +8 T14 MindSlash from Nexus. I have a full +6-+9 t13 fraywind armor set, full T14 armor set, and my +9 MW duskpelt.
Third, most of your posts don't really make sense anymore and you just seem to be a master troll so yea.... (learn to recognize what items are T13, T14 before trying to bash please :> )

your items are junk, BG on SI was stupid, you all have terrible ping, and look at your FPS while you are standing in a town?!

do you even know what ping and fps are? are you playing on a IBM or something?

the fact you don't even have that good of gear says a lot.
Again, my warrior has had more complaints against it then any other character of mine, because he can't be beat im duels or deathmatches. i repeat that statement again, cannot be beat.

here i will let you do the math as to why he can't die, nor can he be beat.

he hits around 9-12 times a second, each time he hits he heals 1300 hp (rounded down)

now do the simple math, 9x1300? or in the other chance 12x1300 each second.

THIS IS NOT A HACK. this is the difference between min-maxing, and just being a kid who has no job or schooling.

how do i hit so fast? well, 168 attack speed does that.

oh and btw, yes i can solo hard mode dungeons on him. would i have compared my gear to someone elses if i lost my name? nope, i would have simply appealed, if they got the name, i would have renamed him, or kept the name with the old Server mark on his name.

You lost the name, you are just crying over something like a child, saying "oh i can spend this much time on a game" and "oh look at this sweet gear" that isn't that sweet.

you simply lost, and now that everyone is calling you out, you are calling everyone a troll.

you sir are a reverse troll.

I can guarantee you it's not photoshopped at all. Ask anyone in Serpentis and you would know how much time I spent on the game. Also, yes I was the #1 ranking in BG in Serpentis up until server Merge. Yes, I have the crappy T14 nexus weapon and it's +8 and yes, I'm using the kelsaik normal mode weapon skin since it looks nice.

again, no actual tier14 items, and who was even talking about weapon skins? you obviously didn't even KNOW that kelsaik HARDMODE dropped Tier13 MASTERCRAFTABLE Superior grade items, with way better stats then Crafted items.

also, i've unlocked Masterwork four times using COMMON engimatic scrolls, not hard at all using Master Engimatic scrolls, especially since i can farm them solo.

Playtime is a factor though and SI panty has over 1776 hours of playtime vs your 74 hours. If you both made your characters at the same day your was losing in playtime.

SI Panty said in game that he had over 74 hours logged, and honestly, his picture looks very photoshopped.

Do you really think that someone could get their gear to that level in 74 hours? It was obviously either a typo or a misunderstanding. Also keep in mind that Panty was ranked 1st on battleground rankings on SI for I believe every week until the merge, and most likely had more than 74 hours of playtime in BGs alone.

I don't know when the name was registered but I do know that the amount of time put in is extremely unequal here. And if playtime is a factor at all in name appealing, then... yeah.

DrakeDragon on 09/20/2012, 11:12 PM
P.S. notice he has the crappy tier13 mastercraftable items too? not even from Kelsaik Hardmode.

Are you serious -_-
+12 MW is an achievement regardless of how "crappy" of a T13 it is, if you can even call it that. Arguing gear is silly here considering that the other Panty's gear doesn't compare anyway.

BG on SI was terrible, considering most the players had equal or worse ping that he has, which means it is just a lag fight no skill involved.

second, if he had sooooooooooooooo much time in the game why wouldn't he have at least the good tier13, let alone, why not at least +9 tier14?

plus, again, no big win there, my warrior is called a hacker non-stop and has had well over one hundreds complaints against him, because he literally cannot lose in a duel, bg, or a 3vs1 deathmatch.

He heals himself for 16k every 3 seconds, until this troll and cry baby can do that, his gear does matter, especially when he claims to have played almost 24/7 since game came up.

i'm guessing he has no job.

I created my name first day of the early access of preorder. I logged in first to claim my name on the day of server merge. I am level 60 while the other is not. I have a ton more play time than the other person as well.

Bunnyrice created her character using the Name reservation option that ACTUAL PREORDER PEOPLE PAID FOR.

^ This.

I didn't notice him saying first day of early access. I created my name during the Name Reservation event period for pre-orders. The first day, and first few seconds of the event period, my name was created. I was right on the dot about logging in during that time.

This pretty much proves my creation time was much faster than yours, and days before yours at that if you created your name during early access.

let it be noted, name reservation happened between april 14th and april 17th, then Open beta happened April 20th, Early access happened i believe the 28th or 29th.

her creation date was DAYS before yours.

P.S. notice he has the crappy tier13 mastercraftable items too? not even from Kelsaik Hardmode.

https://tera-support.enmasse.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/497

this says nothing about level 60, in actual fact, it at first said level 50, her character still would have met all the requirements.

it now says level 30.

this person claiming to have made it on first day of registration is just lying about it and crying over it.

he is originally from Serpents Isle, and is an Off hour player.

if he cared so much about his character, he would have had way more time logged, he said and i quote "i have a little more than 74 hours logged on this character!"

my main has over 1000 hours logged on her, how do i know? the gm's send out little emails saying the play time of a character, and number of monsters killed.

if he has any more complaints, why wouldn't he simply LOOK UP the actual facts, they were posted before merger was finished, instead he ignores it, and made up his own set of rules.
