Drexxin's Post History

I don't know why everyone is beating around the bush about this. He left because there's more attention to be had on a more populated server. That's not even a bad thing; pretty typically normal for human beings. It is quite clear that maybe he had a slightly more critical need for attention than a normal human being. So there's your answer.
Really, this still isn't fixed?

Wow....

....

Wow.
Just giving this a quick bump since it got buried for those curious. It'll be the last one I give, for afterwords I'll be on my hiatus or back a ways from now :).
Hey guys, Co-Leader of Royalz here. I'm sure most guildies, ex-guildies, or people in general on the server might be somewhat curious as to why all the leaders (including myself) have irresponsibly been extremely inactive on TERA as of late. First before I begin I would like to apologize and with a heavy heart summarize what has been going on.

-------------------------------------------------
To begin, it's been a multitude of things. About a week ago, one of our officers and also my girlfriend has become really, really sick. I will not go into details about this but I will let you know it's bad enough to the point where she cannot sustainably take care of herself and therefore I spend a lot of my time comforting and consoling her with what power I have.

I've been irreversibly busy and have also been trying my damndest to make extra money to make ends meet and also assist her in her medical issues. Due to said medical issues a lot of my plans of moving and whatnot have changed and therefore I've been clawing at a desperate attempt to make life livable for myself on a Plan B.

With that said, our other two head officers have become significantly less active for their own reasons as well. Darkle, our head officer, has disappeared as he has a very socially active life and I don't blame him for stopping an MMO to pursue enjoyment in real life with friends. Nyuuf has pretty much given up on TERA due to the discouragement of poor management and the drama because of said issue. That brings me to Suzaku.

Suzaku, by nature, has always gotten bored and disinterested in things relatively fast. For those who don't know, he is the guild leader, though some would hardly believe it. I have been best friends with Suzaku and lead this guild with him for 8 years now, though somewhere along the line he has refused to take the responsibilities of a leader though wishes to relish in the enjoyment of having a commanding position.

I figured out he pretty much stopped caring about the guild altogether when we had 30k policy points and said it "didn't matter" to our member who had reported that our shops have been down and people have been displeased. Unfortunately, like many other times, I had to log onto his account and formally apologize to everyone about our irresponsibility. On top of that..he hasn't even logged onto the guild site in 18 days so it's clear he doesn't care anymore. I'm not trying to insult the guy, I'm just coming clean.

I've had to repeatedly do that and am getting more stress than fun from being encumbered due to rank in the guild system. It's really annoying having to go onto another account just to do the responsibilities necessary to sustain Vanarchy and keep the guild happy with events/warring/etc.

Unfortunately with having to take care of the girlfriend, IRL things, and other hobbies becoming more appealing I've regrettably been inactive. I cannot run the guild by myself even if I wanted to ESPECIALLY if I feel like I'm carrying dead weight (and believe me, the praise rarely goes to me because I'm not 'guild master'.)

------------------------------------------------------

So essentially, I don't want to be gone for good but I will have to take a hiatus to sort personal issues out and take care of the load I have to cope with now before I can responsibly please guild members and make a fun environment for them.

To those who have stuck with us, it's been a really fun while and we've accomplished many victories in PvP that we should be proud of. We've fought good battles and had good times and I've enjoyed each and every member's company. It won't be forgotten and I love how much fun we've had for the time I could run events/war alongside everyone/etc.

So everyone knows, I'm not avoiding all blame. I'm clearly not in a capable position or having free time to give our guildies the treatment and enjoyment they deserve, so I'm hoping to make a return and keep everyone happy at a future time.

MMO's are for having fun with friends though and if you are sick of the management and inactivity currently in Royalz I advise you all to go find another guild that can suit you better and treat you better. I want anyone who's "holding out" to please find fun elsewhere because you deserve better and more than I can currently give you.

I deeply apologize with a heavy heart and love the guild and the game, so I hope to return to it as soon as I can. I know not everyone will even remotely care about this but for those that do I feel this clarification may be a nice update :). Sayonara for now, Jagged Coast.

Apologies for the shops being down for a bit in our region Jagged Coast. Been extremely busy and the rest of the leaders have given up on the guild..so I have a ton to deal with in IRL while keeping the shops open. Opening them up IMMEDIATELY..They will be up within a few minutes.

To compensate I have also enabled skill trainers until the end of the term.

Oh my. I haven't been on TERA for awhile due to IRL interruptions but, well this puts a really ironic twist on Wicked's GM saying they can't respect Royalz anymore because we infiltrated another guild to win a GvG lol.

Didn't expect to see this happen.
You wouldn't happen to play PSO2 at all, would you?
Only 600? Must be nice.

I think this video more accurately depicts the fun of end game

This is not an accurate depiction as the individual in the video is actually succeeding with his enchanting.
I've said this before and it remains my opinion:

Do not blame the companies for doing this, blame the players that buy this stuff which makes it a successful marketing strategy. You do not have to buy the horse, nor should you if you believe it is overpriced and money grubbing. However, this does not matter if others do not feel the same as you and buy them.

It means something is working, and businesses are trying to make money.

Do I like it? No (maybe if it was 10 dollars), but who cares as long as it's not making another player better than me?
