I use my elin as a slayer but if you're male only, maybe go for an aman? I'm one of the few who like the look of the aman, it seems.

Eh, I like the youthful look of the Elin as a flavor thing. I enjoy watching my little bunnygirl looking like she's almost struggling to swing that greatsword around and doing some incredible damage because of it. I don't look at an elin and think "hot" I see one and want to give it a hug like an adorable little sister.

I haven't personally seen this used with procing Overhand Strike but I do know that it is possible to skill cancel without triggering a cooldown as a slayer. In fact, I use them as feints in PvP fairly often or simply because I'm out of time before I have to dodge against a BAM.

The only difference I see between Warrior and Slayer DPS is simply attack speed versus knockdown rate and some unique skills for both sides.

I've rolled a Lancer but I haven't done much with it yet. I'll wait until I get level cap with my Slayer main before I try out another class.

Hmm, that might be the root of the problem, right there. I've been spoiled by parties that generally have a class well suited for tanking so I'm too used to hanging at the back and try to get there all the time. I'll try staying in front and dodging when I'm about to be attacked. Thanks!

The new ones are the Fangspawn at Pora Elinu. I know there's another type in that area but the name escapes me.

I've been having a lot of trouble soloing bams of around my same level at 35 and I'm pretty sure I just fail at dodging. I think I just need tips for learning how in relative safety or just generally picking the tells of bams so that I'm not wasting my dodge roll on something I could strafe around instead. Essentially, I ask this of the forum. How the hell do I survive solo bam fights when I'm this squishy?
