Why are you want penalty players what play together?



its not a penalty for playing with friends its a reward for trying to join a group of unknowns who more than likely wont know each others play styles or strats as well as no VoIP(skype,TS,Vent etc). Its meant to smooth the edges of playing with strangers
groups should be able to vote out the party leader...nuff said
lol, the diversity exists from class to class, as it should. Adding increased "diversity" would be temporary at best, because when everyone finds out that the "Frost sorc" or "necro Mystic" is the best: DPS, Solo,Group, Heals, tank, etc etc, everyone is going to line up on that branch and your diversity is gone. If you want a change of pace and you dont want to do it like all the other (insert your class here) then roll a (insert your not class here).
lol you make it sound as if its something i expect to see tomorrow, or even in the next patch. its simply something to be considered for future efforts. the idea is beneficial to everyone in the game, save lancers and zerks of course as they already befenfit from not having as much competition
again your getting hung up on the armor value and who gets it, make the armor bark and give it to mystics and archers it doesnt matter all that im looking to gain is separating 2 classes into a new armor type so there is less competition for the warriors to deal with if there ends up being 2 of them in a group. pick any 1 from column a and any 1 from column b and add a new armor type.
dont get hung up on the values of the armor, they can be comparable to current values, just split the pool of competition a bit, i went with priest because it fits better from an rp stand point to have priest wearing chain as mystics as a generalization are more or less nature people, while priest are more of a soldiers healer if that makes sense, im not trying to get priest a defensive boost, in the end it gives mystics an edge gearwise to NOT be chain as they dont have to roll against potenially 2 warriors
how about adding a new armor class(chain) so that all the leather wearers and cloth wearers dont have so much competition in gear drops. War/priest would then wear chain, this would be most beneficial to to the warriors as they now have to compete among st themselves and slayers AND archers for gear, making it possible for 1 piece of good gear to be rolled on by 4 players.
I'm loving the class thus far, and while I agree with the grip about the distance restriction in a way it makes sense, the close you are to something the faster the arrow flies etc etc. Maybe at range they should give us a better chance to crit to balance it out a bit, more time to aim or whatever.

My biggest complaint so far about the class is our auto attack, i should be able to run and gun with the auto attack, as it seems to me every combo end with me being pushed away from my target, i should be able to maintain some semblance of dps as close the distance
