Ello's Post History

I solo BAMS in defensive stance because its much more reliable to block than to dodge, imho. Blocking doesn't give you a cooddown, while your roll does. Also, being able to stand in one spot gives you extra time to weave in dps skills, like rain of blows (which will heal you if glyphed correctly).
It may "appear" to take less time, but if you wipe on a BAM you have to start all over. So, I like to go slow and steady instead of risk it.

To answer your question fully, I would suggest only using your block. Make sure you don't hold it down as your resolve will deteriorate very quickly. If you find yourself low on resolve, use your smoke warrior to take the pressure off you and build resolve back up. If that skill is on cd, simply kite the bam for resolve. Easy peasy.
sounds logical to me.
the animations/armors/enviroment/graphics in gw2 is shameful. honestly, I think arenanet really screwed people over :/

but alas, different folks, different strokes.
This is Orchid. I'm actually a girl, thank you very much.

We kicked him because as the tank was trying to explain to us about the lag, he demanded they be kicked. I told him not to be nasty about it, that we'd figure it out and he said "don't get your panties in a bundle, I'm being realistic. Kick them."

After he scared the tank off, we had to wait 120 seconds to kick because of the combat rule, he is still demanding they be kicked.

He's obviously nuts, as evident by him bumping this every 5 seconds. Anyways, good day.
Wait. Are we acknowledging them by acknowledging that we aren't acknowledging them?

My mind is full of [filtered].
Warriors are not as complicated as anyone wants to think. I've tanked CR, soloed BAMS, and have no problem filling a tank OR dps role.

The problem is people don't want to pay to reglyph. So they'll have some good glyphs for tanking and some good glyphs for dps, resulting in them not being spectacular in either. A warrior will have an extremely tough time holding aggro/tanking without being glyphed for it. The same goes for being good DPS.

I find myself resetting my glyphs on a daily basis.
You can change loot options while party leader to class only. Otherwise, its round robin by default I believe.

If you haven't changed your tab options, what party member pick up should appear in the party chat tab.

~ Orchid ~

Orchid's story is an unusual and unfortunate tale. Unlike most castanics, she was not raised in Castanica. Instead, She began her first footsteps of life in a place most unusual to her, Allemantheia, home to the high elfs. She fought hard to quell her temper and be one with her adopted relatives, but still remained curious about her origins and furthermore, what had come of her parents.

I think my favorite aristic aspect of Tera is how whimsical it is. It looks like a fairy tale mixed with middle age weapons, character and armors.

Ill be getting GW2 when it releases but it in no way shape or form holds a candle to Tera. It is insanely over hyped to the max and I think a lot of people are expecting way too much from it. I look at it this way. If GW2 was sub based would so many people still be singing its praises? Would they still be buying it? I think the answer would be no for many because it's not good enough to warrant a sub and I think that says a lot.

Trolls will be trolls.

You call that trolling? That was probably the most reasonable statement in this thread.
I still remember hearing a critic reviewing GW2 and they said graphics were just as good as Tera, just different art design. Yea..... critics outright lie.
