Emperith's Post History

You can join Anime ":D. We have around 10-20 Hardcore people, with alot more slightly casual people. There are roughly 10-13 people with the Kelsaik Mask if that means anything to you. There aren't any real set statics, so if there are any hardmodes going on, its pretty simple to join a group.

Just hotkey it, and pop it before you die.

And if you die and a crystal doesn't break, the crystalbind affect stays on.
I feel like this game has gotten so much easier from when I first started. I was some of the first L60s on my old server (Arachnea) and doing dungeons then was impossibly hard. FoK NM took us around 4 Hours for our first few attempts, while our first completed BT run took my group 6 and a half hours. Nowadays with a new character, you can farm up maybe 1/2k gold, buy some t12s/t13s, and be set to complete normal modes in a fraction of the time that I had to spend. Progression always gets easier as the game has been out longer. Solely due to the fact that the next tier of gear will always decrease in price, as more and more people are able to complete the "harder" dungeons. If this was like a month ago, I would agree that NMs are too hard for people just finishing quests and hitting 60. But with the increased drop rate, gear is no longer an issue, and just a little practice will allow for you to finish the dungeon.

TL:DR: Dungeons are easier now. If you're bad get carried.

And OP What server are you on?
There are mw'd Kelsaik weapons in Dragonfall. The damage has been upgraded to that of L60 weapons, but the extra modifiers for Axe, Lance, Staff, Wand, (Block and Heal) have not been moved up.
Honestly. My Current Static's Gear are the following:

Tank:

+9 T13 Lance
+11 MW Armor
+9 T13 Gloves
+9 T13 Boots

Sorc:
+12 MW Disk
+5 T13 Armor
+7 T13 Boots
+9 MW Gloves

Warrior:
+12 MW Sword
+9 MW Armow
+9 T13 boots
+9 T13 Gloves

Slayer:
+11 MW Sword
+9 Armor
+9 Boots
+9 Gloves

Priest:
+9 Staff
+9 MW Armor
+11 MW Gloves
+9 MW Boots.

We just started doing Kelsaik HMs yesterday, while getting our first two kills today. We have had no problems during any phase of the boss fight, with the 8 minute burn period from 45% taking us a little over 3 Minutes to complete.

To be safe, I would recommend at least +9 T13 Weapons for the DPS, and +7 Armors for everything else. An item level of 150 should suffice. But like any other boss, proper planning and practice would do more for you than any increase in gear.
(Area) Marathoner Title.
NICE. I finally talked my static into attempting Kelsaik HM.

Which I think my static is overgeared since we have like 75% MW gear and the rest t13s >.>. Don't know why they were so afraid loool. But congrats, and hopefully they'll be more Zebras this weekend ;D
I have around 3 Setups for HMs with my Sorc

Mutinous Mutinous Carving Focused - Savage Scroll - Pristine Powerful Zyrk x 4
For bosses that I cannot reliably be behind at all times.

This Crystal build maximizes the damage for bosses that move around. The crit multiplier from Focused when a boss is enraged has a higher return than 2 more Mutinous, and if you're using a Carving, you should always be using some sort of crit multiplier.

IE: Crab in FoK, Aurcadius, Occasionally Kaprima

Focused Carving Savage Acrimonious - Savage Scroll - Pristine Powerful Zyrk x 4
For bosses that I can always be behind

Maximized damage out put from crits. Allows me to reliably crit over 700k - 1.5M Fire blasts, and 500-1.0M with Void Pulse. Depending on the boss (Maxing out at 4-5M on grigs)

IE: All 3 Kumas, Frimbrilisk, Lancer.

Mutnious Mutinous Mutinous Swift - Warding Scroll x 999 - Relentless Zyrk x 4 // Pristine Powerful Zyrk x4
Kelsaik.

No Crits, Dead Dps = No Dps
1 For my Plate of Revenge

7 For Gloves

Waiting to get my armor to see how many that would take.
