Actually, some of them are pretty useful. resist knockdown, instant mana regen etc.
The cool down time on them are pretty high, especially if said buff only lasts 30 secs, but eh.
No I don't. I made this post asking how one would craft, not if or not it is viable and why. You misunderstand the point of the topic.
Yes, "how one would craft" YOU DON'T!
Lol, I'm sorry, I'm highly amused by this.
Anyways, your best bet at the moment is to use the search function, rather than scanning a few pages.
There are people who have over 300 from what I saw the other day (no idea if this is a big difference as I don't know the crafting system). There's a lot of discussion on dyes, not sure about weapons/armors, but "Search" would be your best option.
All you gotta do is submit some chat logs area spam, screenshots etc to like Fox news and it will end up on like Oreiley or something and they starrt a boycott etc that will get the attention you want.
-.- I think we all enjoy playing the game, problems included.
This move would have the studio shut down, most likely anyways, since it's their freshman years as a team.
Granted change would come, but at the cost of a lot of other things. Also, Bill O'Reily is... well moving along.
The M rating is just the rating the ESRB gave TERA for the content it presents towards the end user. EME and BHS don't have to include content that pushes that rating to the bleeding edge before it falls into AO material. If anything, it's the sign of a professional developer/publisher to not give a damn and simply follow their vision and goals for the game.
EDIT: I should clarify, this post isn't directed towards the OP, but towards people berating TERA as not really living up to the rating.
I'm not trying to say that they're in the wrong for what they've done, because on a few points I do understand their position. With that being said though, their vision of the game should be taken from where their primary focus is, that being Korea, A lot of these so called "westernization" decisions should have already been panned out before deciding to launch over here, and you can tell that they were not due to the execution.
To be honest, the only thing pushing the M title is the sexually suggestive themes. Outside of the community, the game itself is rather PG.
Although to sum it up: They need to go back and rexamine their vision for the game and try to make sure that the current model fits their original intention.
I can only say what I believe, and it's that it doesn't.
It's the 3rd skill? You start the game with the basic combo and one other attack skill, then there is another skill, usually a buff.
They also have a few passives as well.
Have a look at the skills menu, it will tell you which are race unique abilities.
PETA is gonna be all over this thread.
Silencing your animal for natural behaviour? tsk, tsk, tsk.
Should probably list what server you're on, if there's a preference.
but a line has to be drawn if en masse wants to keep them self as a professinal company
That's kind of the problem here. Their line isn't straight.
It was created as a more mature game in Korea, and then toned down for NA and tone down for EUR.
I can understand the Elin fiasco, although that's something that should have been addressed a long time ago since the intention was to go global from the start ( as far as I'm aware of anyways).
You aren't going to succeed if you compromise on your vision every step of the way.
They shouldn't have a filter if it's a game for mature audiences, and if it isn't, then they should have made it that way from the Korean version.
It's not 1990 where 1% of the community has access to over seas information, just saying.
I think the chat bubbles should be specific.
Normal chat should have it. Party chat should be only be seen by party members (if at all). Area chat, guild chat etc. shouldn't have any.
Just my $00.02
It's not an MA game, it's more like a PG 13.
This is speaking outside of Korea anyways.
Maybe E for EUR.
