Eveything's Post History

Hi Carnexo,

And welcome to the community!
To answer your question, well there is no answer. It of course depends on what you would like to play. Do you want to heal, tank, Ranged or Melee DPS? I am sure you will find the class to fit you. In my experience they are all fun to play.

Good luck choosing, and let us know what you rolled!

Hello guys and girls, again I would like to ask all beginning writers, or people who love Tera enough to share your thoughts, to contact us. You do not have to write on a regular basis, or about any specific part of the game. We could still use your insight on classes, your experiences in the Looking For Group teamups, crafting, or selling stuff at the Broker.
We will help you to polish your addition to our community and we will post it!
So get the keyboard warmed up, and share with us your thoughts! I hope to hear from you at www.about-tera.com
Hey Hames,

I am sure that there are many views on the questions you've just asked. But at least I'll give you my answers and I hope there will be more people whp follow suit, so you can really make up your mind.

1) Difficulty is not that high, I find them challenging at first, but very soon repetitive. I think this is also the case for the leveling system. Again a bit too easy, and perhaps too many quests.
2) Nope, it is really a great combat system. I still enjoy it very much and on top of that, playing different classes also gives a real new feel to it. In WoW for example it could 'feel' the same to play any caster. Here at Tera, this is not the case.
3) Balancing I am not too sure about. This due to the fact that I have not been playing PvP that much. Besides that, I like playing a Lancer, not the best class to play PvP with. The diversity is great! Again the combination of classes is really different to play, but also the race combination does give a feel that you are playing a different person.
4) Since we do not have Battlegrounds yet, there is no telling in how this will turn out for Tera.
5) Combat system is the best aspect. Also the grafics are amazing, but that should never be a factor. I like Minecraft as well, and the grafics there are nothing to write about.
6) I personally think the leveling is too bland. I do not feel gripped to the story, too many quests and I have lost track of my characters motivation. Now it is just a accept quest, kill target, get XP. Next to the leveling, the crafting is also quite a task. BUT I do think these things can and will be fixed in the future. It is a 'new' game, WoW was not build in a day either.

Hope it will help, but my biggest answer is yet coming. Just play it for a couple of months. You won't be dissappointed. But to be honest, next to the combat system, it is nothing different from WoW.

Regards,
Eveything
A new article is posted again. Here is a preview:
Don´t you hate it when you are the last to know? I was away for a couple of days, had some friends who got married in the South of Italy. They are Italian by the way, so the fact that they married there did make sense. What did not make that much sense was the fact that the weather in Italy is actually quite warm and since they are Italian, we were all wearing suits. I am in no way saying that the women to that party were not warm, but I was leaving a trail of sweat. Anyways, they do have internet down there, but I was quite busy enjoying myself, so I completely missed that we have a new expansion coming out! ... Continue reading at www.about-tera.com
@Radii, there are still a couple of sites running. Check out http://tera-forums.enmasse.com/forums/fansites/topics/New-TERA-Blog-Please-List-Your-Blogs-Too-54879 for a more complete list. Also there are website still in need of writers, so you might want to try those.
@Edhin, if you ever do write the information down about your warrior, I'd be happy to see if we could place it in another guest article. So please let me know!

Thanks Zenko! We appreciate your feedback!
@Rosa,
Thanks! I'll try to keep up the good work!
And I hope the list get's longer, perhaps then we could write for eachothers blogs in the future. Would be a nice addition!
Our newest blog entry at our site is available:
Have I told you guys that I love the 80′s? Probably, but I’ll do it again. In the 80′s you had the Arcades. This was the place where kids spend their hard earned quarters on video games and Pinball machines. I know, because I went there a lot, and it was fun! Although with the rise of Sega, Atari and Amiga, we got to play the same games at home and the Arcade in it’s true form died. You can still find them here and there, and they are still fun, it will never give me that same feeling. In reference to this detail of my life in the 80′s, I was looking at the Google Tech Talks yesterday and I came by this bit of news.

Hi Rosa,

Nice idea! So here are my 2 cents. I write for the tera blog site http://about-tera.com/.
We usually have about 4 updates per week, mostly containing information about Tera. But even we somtimes have different angles.

Good luck on your Blog!
