I went from 0% attack speed to 24%, and I noticed the difference right away.

Anyway I prefer

2x attack speed
1x boss damage
1x rear damage
1x enrage damage (I'd drop this if I used abyss)

I think double attack speed is the way to go

Faster recovery can be life saving vs argon queen the 24% attack speed could make the difference between you getting hit mid leaping strike after a huddle, or you making it out alive. When fighting other bosses the extra attack speed makes the difference between you blocking an attack right after a thunderstirke/flatten, or you still being stuck in animation and getting hit.

You don't get interrupted mid animation as often.Bosses are less likely to move out of the way of your attacks. The extra attacks gained from attack speed bonus makes up for the boss damage modifier you trade for it.You can play more aggressive be cause you don't have to worry about being locked in animations.

ok am I just one of the lucky ones in these games? I never hiccup, get low fps nothing. When people have problems I just don't know what to say.

every game I play works perfectly on this smooth as butter including TERA nonstop.

core i7
gigabyte mobo
12gb ddr3 RAM
nvidia gtx 560ti
windows 7 64 bit ultimate
many fans cooling

I guess I'm just lucky then

Because smooth to you is 30-40 fps....

Some parts of Tera run perfectly fine. But others like argon queen run at 30-40 fps which is horrible when you're used to 60 fps in every other game.

People are complaining because we have $400-500 video cards and we're getting horrible frame rate because they are not being utilized.
30-40 masterwork powders and 30-40 refined powders Keep in mind thats over 3 runs and not 1 run.

All the mini bosses can drop alkahest. You end up fighting 4 mini bosses and 3 normal bosses if you clear everything.
@Kultra
I'm not sure if you're referring to solo farming ET/Lab/KN, or duo farming ET/Lab/KN.

I agree that duo Kelsaik is better money than duo et/lab,but Solo lab/et is more money than duo Kelsaik.

Lab solo 3 clears a hour (I could probably get in 4 clears an hour if I skip the hedgehog boss.)

9 masterwork scrolls
30-40 masterwork alkahest
30-40 refined alkahest
800 gold from drops

ET solo 4 clears a hour

12 masterwork scrolls
9-12masterwork alkahest
9-12 masterwork alkahest
1000 gold from drops

Kelsaik duo with a friend 6 times a hour

9 masterwork scrolls

I'm not sure how much alkahest and gold items he drops so someone will have to post numbers so we can compare the farms. If no one posts I'll solo Kelsaik and update this post later.
Lab solo is probably the best farm for berserkers at the moment.
Consider soloing ET and LOT .With +9 abyss it should ET should be doable in 12-15 min.Lab should be do able in around 20-25 min if you do all the bosses + mini bosses.

If you're solo you don't have to split the enigmatic drops and masterwork powders so you end up making more money.

I've tried duo KN with healer friend, but we decided we'd be better off soloing lab/et instead.Trash plus Kelsaik took us about 10 minutes.
No system can run this game perfectly at the moment. When I say perfect I mean an average fps of 55-60.

Try using a program, like fraps benchmark, that records you average fps/minimum/max fps.

I benchmarked four argon queen kills last night, and I averaged 43 fps with a average minimum of 25ish fps.My maximum fps was 80 but it's capped anyway so its not like it matters.

My pc specs

i7 3770k 4.8 ghz
AMD 7970 1145 core/1575 memory
Gskill Ripjaws 1600 mhz
Intel 520 120 GB SSD
Z77 Sabertooth

I'm ordering faster ram helps with minimum/average rate.I should be getting 2400 mhz ram in this week so I'll let everyone know if it makes a difference.

@ the op

Save your money and wait for Intel to release Haswell then upgrade your processor and motherboard. If you're a huge amd fan just wait for steamroller then upgrade.

I went from a 6950 to a 7970, and it did absolutely nothing to help my performance in Tera. However my performance in every other game doubled. So if you want better performance in other games grab 7970/7950 or 680/670 if not just wait for the next gen of video cards.

Don't bother ram upgrades for now.I'll let you know how my experiment with 2400 ram goes.

The skill bonus don't make up for what you lose by going from regents to jax trust gear.

Here's what I lose

2k armor

11.5% boss damgage redutrion
8% Enraged damage reduction
8% thunder strike damage

traded for

for 10% flatten damage.

I am laughing. With the F2P patch a lot of the so called uber gear should be trashed. The only gear that I have found that is worth my time to get is the Jax Trust for my Zerker. So the f it is not enchantable, show me one piece that beats the Whisperstomper Axe in stats. I know you cannot. Here is a link for you people that think you have to have some now outdated gear to look over: http://teracodex.com/

I would suggest that you give it a good long hard look because now the gear you so coveted is trash.

regents, queen's wrath, visionmaker.

Nope nope and nope. I did my research and have MW all of the ones you mentioned. The Whisperstomper still beats the Visionmaker by a large margin, and the chest piece from the Jax Trust has much more defences and better stats. None of the pieces that you mentioned are upgrades for my Zerker at all. Event eh best boots and gloves come out of Argon Corpus. You need to look at TERA Codex before sticking your stinky foot back into your mouth.

The Jax Trust gear is only better than regent's,queen's wrath and visionmaker gear that is not enchanted.

Even dream keeper gear at +12 is better than Jax trust gear.
