I must be doing it wrong. I craft alchemy stuff - health/mana pots across all tiers, and scrolls, and I maybe make 100g a week...
I agree it can be annoying.
However, at least in regards to the resurrection scroll - I think the fact that it gets 'used' increases the importance of thinking about exactly when to use it. Have another party member or two try to pull the mob away long enough for another to use the scroll.

All I am hearing on this thread (with the exception of a few posts) is QQ.
I don't prefer to PvP either. If the Guild Master is worth anything they'd put it up to a vote - if the majority of the guild wants to GvG, then fine. The chances of encountering another member of one of those guilds is fairly low, unless you are battling a guild with 200 members (even then).
If you find yourself getting 'ganked' by higher levels in the same spot, go somewhere else, it's not hard.
If you don't want to have to worry about looking over your shoulder in fear - then go to Velika and work on crafting. Do something else - GvG is only up for 24 hours...
I can agree that an individual should have a choice - but I also think people are having overblown, knee-jerk reactions...oh wait, this is the internet...

1) You're getting screwed if you're spending 2k on a machine - or your overspending for fluff (hint, you don't REALLY need 16gb of ram for gaming, unless you intend on running a server). I built my current rig 2 years ago for right about $1000-1200 and it still plays all modern games with no issue.
2) Asking everyone to go out and spend 2k on a new machine - to fix a brand new feature that will obviously evolve - is ludicrous.

Top end gaming computers cost around that.
Buying a "gaming" computer is for idiots. Spending extra for the word "Game" slapped on a box and black edgy case. Is for idiots. Make a computer with equal hardware yourself, save a boatload of money.
Oh that is what I was talking about. I used the word 'gaming' because there a specific parts taht a top end self built gaming computer would have that a normal one probably wouldn't. Thanks though.
