Hey all! Flaked here. Started this game a couple days ago, really want to get into it this spring break.

I just wanted to know what class would suit me best. I have a very specific play style. I enjoy dealing big numbers, being very valuable to a raid/instance, and to be a class that is not easily played. This pretty much diminishes my options to a DPS class, UNLESS there is a huge need for good tanks or healers in this game.

Let's look at this from a business standpoint.
Veteran players are more likely to continue playing and paying.
New players are less likely to continue playing and might not even pay.
Therefore, it is only logical to calm the rage of veteran players who allow this game to keep running than appeal to the new players who are more probable to leave.

That being said, the change that was made was necessary. It didn't deter most of the new players and made the veterans happy.

If you GET the first free month, yes. I didn't though. I recommend buying the one month first just in case, then if you like the game and think it will hold your interest for one year go ahead and get that.

It's a lot safer that way, and even if you do get the first free month without the bug/glitch you are only spending fifteen or so dollars extra so it's not as bad as the full year.

Again, I'm not sure if they fixed this. So if anyone has any different information feel free to correct me.

Upon ordering the game you receive a month of free game time (although some people had problems with this) and are allowed to select your subscription plan.

You may select any subscription plan, one year in your case would mean that if you do not cancel before your free game time is over it will bill your account for the full amount of the year.

Anyone please correct me if I am wrong.

Sorry but fun is always subjective and up to the opinion of the individual.
The fact that you said this is just ignorant and although I see your concern with what your *opinion* about leveling is; the fact that you reflect this upon the whole community thinking it's boring is just plain: wrong.

I find it funny how everyone is getting insulted. If you are hardcore into MMO's I can see how that's an accomplishment. However that's not going to help what so ever in real life. I don't even see how it's fun to level that fast.
In the end it all depends on the person, if you have 8+ hours of free time and decide to use all of that to power-level to max level more power to ya.

Left it on at night to install, so it at most took 6 hours. Then the download took me a whopping fourteen hours :/. Worth it though!
