Flanlord's Post History

I disagree with the phrase 'shameless' bumping.

Most shameful. Sad that the forums have devolved to this this week.

But not doing it means possibly losing great applicants... /sigh

Here's hoping BC remains moderately sane today.

Yep, that was the first Bunny Girls declaration... "Next time someone sees a spam recruitment post in area chat tell me the name, we're going to war."

Not sure... where Nev was?

Then Notturno and I had a pretty bad SM run with a Lancer tank in Warpath. We were less than enthused, and when 'uhh who else do you guys want to go to war with?' was thrown out again, I believe Notturno suggested Warpath.

I've really been enjoying our selection process so far. Keeping it very light and playful. No doubt eventually this will be a more serious thing, and I hope we aren't planning on declaring while everyone is leveling again... anyways... fun stuff.

maybe going on the honor system here for the most part and alot of the guilds are very proffessional, if people where being shysty then the whole server will end up knowing and there rep would be ruined

2 things -

First, Cerberus Gaming 4:0

Won against Bunny Girls
Won against Warcry
Won against Assimilation
Won against Bloodthirsty

Might I suggest a bracket or advancement system?

Each season guilds interested in participating (other than the first) have to provide their last-season record. Have an upper bracket which requires a certain % of wins AND a minimum number of battles. The upper bracket only counts wins against other upper bracket guilds that season, and compete for our community Epeen contest.

Maybe have the top 16 guilds or whatever do group play in 4 groups of 4, top 2 guilds in each group advance into a round of 8, do it again with 2 groups, top 4 make a group, then the top 2 go head to head - do a best of 3 wars for TOTAL SERVER EPEEN RIGHTS.

The biggest problem you'd run into is regulating stuff. Roster sizes would probably have to have a minimum as well as a maximum, which would make a lot of people angry. It'd be a pain to organize, a pain to moderate etc. but it could be fun.

I love that I've linked that enough that I no longer have to.

I'm a little sad to be an Elin, but I have to fit in with the melee fox ball.

Just a few hours to go... time to check up on man-snacks, and drink supplies... Although with 4 days to get 8 hours of grinding done there isn't really a need to make this a marathon.

I hope people appreciate how kind they're being to hardcore players by making the launch a multi-stage casual thing. How many times have we all taken a week off work, or skipped a day or two of school...

Now we don't have to. I do kinda wish we could have at least 2 toons in this phase.
Well... I'm sold.

1% crit from behind, 3% free health, or 3% free pvp health can be passed up I suppose.

I just want someone to tell me I'm not crazy for thinking whoever thinks the races are balanced was shaken as a child.

Playing and raging aren't the same thing Nott, you rage at MW3 and LoL. :)

Heimerdinger says otherwise.

He doesn't rage when he's playing, only when he isn't winning. Or isn't at a Kill/Death ratio above 10.

"Americans play to win all the time, because the very thought of losing is hateful to Americans."

For Notturno, second place is being the first loser.

Which, when you think about it, makes him a nice person to have on your team. That sort of competitive drive usually doesn't last long in people who give up easily, and not giving up is the best way to win more.

I finally preordered... had Ichigo name-grabbed until I realized I didn't care enough to deprive some paste-eating... nerd... of that.

Now I just have to come to terms with wanting to be small, but also wanting racial abilities/bonuses that are good. It is a shame High Elves, Elin, and Popori don't actually get racials worth having. Even then, the Baraka's has too long of a cooldown to really be counted on. Not worthless, but also substantially worse than the Human, Aman, and Castanic passives. Makes me wish there weren't any racials at all. Perfect balance.

Well there was going to be at least one, I don't think the removal of BGs is indicative of removal of that seat, just that it will mean on-server in-world PvP instead of a BG grind.

Hopefully not having BGs in the game until the GW2 release is just a tragic bit of planning, and not a marketing ploy.

I think Notturno freaking out about the manikins (sp?) was worth the entire rest of sitting through that movie. Although with all the laughing, League of Legends jokes, and drunk Berry, I'm not entirely sure I could explain the plot to anybody.

Next one is V for Vendetta? Might be interesting, but to be honest it doesn't really fit our MO.

Glad people are ironing out class and race selection, we didn't have a whole lot of people active as tons are on the Bill O'Reilly train. (F--- IT! WE'LL DO IT LIVE!) Which is getting pretty close.
Yeah, I'll be with you at 1.2x. Maybe even 2x and we could watch V for Vendetta on the heels of Insidious, get a man-date ahead. In fact, we may want to go 4x and watch the next 4... TERA is coming. There will be no time for dating.

We used to be damn well herded cats to be fair. Will be again once a game comes out that is worth playing for more than a month. TERA is looking like it will be up to the challenge at this point.

Nothing is more terrifying than a well organized herd of cats. It is unnatural and unsettling on levels you cannot imagine before seeing it.
