Maybe they have bigger hands because hey masterbate a lot? or something.
I dunno i dont mind it it dont see it as totally weird. Even purposely trying to see my castanics hands as "bigger" than usual and perportionately i dont really see it.

The only odd thing i see is the female back arch is pretty strong. Which points to them being more bottom heavy and having wider longer hips, and a much bigger [filtered]. I dunno, if you make them run forward the straighten their back out and it looks fine.

I don't get the "castanics have freaky big hands" comment. I don't see it.
The only difference between elins as I see it is their ears and tales. Other then that they are all the same. At least to my Castanic eyes.
Their lore doesn't really point to individuality as does other lores do.

I think the witch thing at least denotes that they have a desire to treated less like children.

Peoples own opinions that don't syngergize with the game is because they don't understand that a fantasy story doesn't care about wat people think about it, it only does what it does to tell a story.
Elins were made from a divine force, unlike the castanic or humans...
They aren't a biological production, they are divinely inspired.

They may have thoughts all their own, but it doesn't change the fact that they are rediculous, and even the elin's themselves might even see that.
People's individuality can carry into games, but it doesnt change the fact that if you pick an elin, you're picking to be a cute(i dont think they are) childlike female, and thats the end of it.
RPing an elin as a male is just.... weird because of how pointless it really is until you throw away the lore.

My god yes. I love everything about that race.

Their stature is much like my own (save the boing boing boobs on a skinny body).

Their lore is absolutely fantabulous. I love that they're magitech nerds, and the fact that they're [filtered] atheists in a world where you can actually talk to gods. Just beautiful.

Their animations just OOZE confidence and ferocity. X3

And while I'm not a fan of useless armors, their fashion sense is the most rad thing ever.
(Quick note: If you actually pay attention to the Castanic culture, you will notice that the women don't dress scantily to please/attract the men. They do that [filtered] for themselves. In their culture, their power-oriented gender roles are the reverse of ours. When a female Castanic doesn't wear pants, she's not acting like a slut, she's acting like it's [filtered] hot outside, much like when a man doesn't wear a shirt in our culture. And if you pay attention to "Pleasure Street," Castanica's red light area, you'd notice that the only female Castanic there is the pimp.)

And sure, some people may not like their faces, but they do have some really cute options in there, and the ones people call "ugly" are still perfectly fine, because their confident animations absolutely rock them. (It's like saying it doesn't matter what you look like, as long as you got freakish amounts of confidence you can be sexy as hell, in your OWN right! ^o^)

And dem Castanic men abs *o* paired with the right face and hair and I might steal one.~

You just made me so proud to be Castanic

Let's be honest here for once and stop lying to ourselves.
In Click&Kill or tab targetting MMOs (however you want to call them) there's no such thing a skill.

youre absolutely wrong

Interesting stuff about WoW there that I didn't know. I'm curious to a comparison between Dark Souls and WoW from you though. Hopefully you played that game. That game is basically the pinnacle of human skill in a video game and it's action combat, hence why I'm saying Tera should draw more from it. If it did, I can see it growing on the skill requirement much quicker than my new knowledge of WoW skill sets.

They are definitely using different skills though then if that's true about WoW.

I've never played dark souls but there is another game that I've played thats a serious testament to skill.

Vindictus. On hero mode at least. Hero mode in vindictus has an absolutely abosurd skill ceiling and ads an extreme level of knowing exactly where your avatar is positioned and what to do next to inflicted damage as well as what to do to negate or dodge damage.
Many of the hero level bosses can easily chunk 50~60% of a players health, and can lock a player into a downhill fight.

vindictus is aiming, and skillshot like TERA but without the crosshairs. and you have to be absolutely aware of your swing distances and your effective range. So say you're a fiona, thats the archetype I play. You're essentially tanky DPS that relies on dodge and sheild mechanics. your swing speed is slower but you inflict heavier damage and counter play. Your swings are worth more because you take more risk getting damage.
the bosses in hero mode are intense, they have high amounts of HP and they have accelerated movements and damage.
Here's the catch too, the bosses HP is hidden as well, you have no idea just how much damage you're dealing
Essentially you're up agaisnt a boss that can 1~2 shot you, you have no reference to its health, and its all over if he swats you. that 20minute run is done.
So otherwise you have to learn Extremely fast or pay for it in time trying to beat that boss over and over so you can learn.

All of vindictus's moves and abilites are triggered by sequence and require some insane level of precogniative/prediction to be able to execute and not get your face smashed in.
Hero mode in vindictus takes what should be a simple hack and slash and makes a freaking monster of a skill based game by design.

Positioning and prediction are everything in vindictus
