Yes you can not argue that EME is doing a better job but why try to incorporate multiple ideas from that previous MMO that helped it fail?

I meant it more from a PvP point of view. Think about it they dodge more than a warrior, dps better than a warrior/lancer/archer/zerker, are able to chase down/escape from players better than ohh every class except maybe a mystic, so on and so forth.
Yes they are OP especially at 60 with advanced glyphs.

I see enough of them attempt to do it with all might and confidence...it gets pretty damn annoying when I'm the one having to heal their [filtered] and I'm the one catching aggro. It appears to be more common when there's a warrior tank in the group than a lancer, but they'll still try to tank before the lancer can ask 'rea[dy?]'. Starting to make me wonder if the OP claims for the class are that much bogus.

gotta love that logic of you need the gear that drops from the instance to be able to run the instance......... Ummm
right there with ya had the highest hopes that the devs would not go the same route as Aion since they came from that fail.
And now what are we getting limited time on battle grounds, formulated PvP only available at lvl 60, PvE in the battlegrounds for a quick win, do you [filtered]s not learn? I also un-subbed and flame on I went back to WoW for the simple reason I can PvP all day every day with what ever lvl character I chose, I can que for the dungeon finder and not have to spend 2hrs waiting.
All you flamers can say what you want about WoW apparently they did do something right to still have as many servers and active subs. I understand the many reasons people hate that game but at least that game allows you to have fun.

TBH if you are going to level your lancer first concentrate on only your lancer because once you play pretty much any other class and see how ridiculous their dmg is compared to yours it makes it that much more painful.

if warriors had been able to play to their fullest potential, queue as a tank, I would have most likely lvled one of them up but at the time of launch there was plenty of speculation that warriors were going to be moved into a primary DPS role and a new tank would be implemented.
Had I know then what I know now I would have lvl'd a warrior for tanking since they can also quest and solo much better than a lancer

TBH no I would just like the lvling to be more forgiving as it stands now the amount of dmg you take vs the amount of dmg you do during the time it takes to kill a mob sucks. I just got lvl 54 and am using a lvl 54 lancer and the vast majority of my gear is lvl 53 so yes I consider I am up to date. And unless I have my slayer friend with me (who mind you is ahead of me in lvls because of my work schedule) it takes a ridiculously long time to quest.
Backstep isnt going to change the fact that solo lvling still sucks fat donkey balls
