Who is Ascend?
Ascend was first created as a hardcore raiding guild in World of Warcraft during the Wrath of the Lich King expansion and became one of the top Horde guilds on Dragonmaw, unfortunately the Guild Master decided he was going to rage quit and destroy the guild so he kicked everyone, transferred servers, and got himself a name change.
Now under new and better management, Ascend is reforming as a semi-hardcore, close-knit, and multi-gaming community that strives to be the top guild on our server. We aim to be the best in both PvE and PvP contents of our games while providing an enjoyable, friendly, and helpful community for our members.
What games do you play?
We currently have guilds in World of Warcraft, Tera, and plan on expanding to Guild Wars 2.
Why should I consider Ascend?
Ascend isn't satisfied with being a generic recruit-and-play guild. We aim to do more with the guild than treat it as another form of Area/LFG/Trade chat, such as holding various events and activities for our members. We are a semi-hardcore guild, which means we're looking for players who can dedicate time and effort into helping the guild by participating in activities, events, forums, and overall improvement.
Do I qualify?
We're looking for mature members who are willing to help our guild. We ask that you respect and help others while participating in as many events and activities as you can. We would like our members to also be active on our forums, but it's not required. We also want drama to be at a minimum, so if you have a lack of understanding, low patience, anger problems, or are easily offended, this may not be the guild for you. Not everyone has the answers to your questions or the time to come help you. We don't mind lending a hand to pull you up but we shouldn't have to hold it everyday either. This doesn't mean you need to be a top tier player to join, just good enough to hold your own or at least put in the effort to improve.
