I have plenty of other names that I can and do use, but this one has been my on-line persona and character name in games for a LONG time. Think I first registered it on CompuServe way back when and I've been using it ever since. It's still my email address (though it's on gmail now)

It was never promised, so don't hold your breath. I suppose you will get a crack at it if you are on a low-pop server that gets merged, but that has not been promised, either.
Unfortunately I think you're right and this is probably the case, though I doubt I'll ever see a merger being on JC. :(

When is this going to happen?

Heck, just remove the 1 from the stat (5% instead of 15) and I think we'd be okay. Everyone I know that has their PvP gear a. has this stat and b. thinks it's completely and utterly ridiculous.

The problem is that it seems to be a crap shoot if you're going to get the buffs at all. I tried a Fane run to test the effects of the buff and got nothing, and yes I was definitely queued as tank. I queued with 2 guildies. Once we joined the group consisted of Me (warrior), Mystic, Archer, Slayer, Zerker.
I've heard some interesting stories about adding a group member back if someone drops as well. The system doesn't seem to recognize the warrior as a tank past the initial joining of the dungeon.
To clarify, please make sure to click on the shield icon to be the tank (top of the window) and the shield icon is selected when you queue for the instance matching system. You do get the buff and the buffs will be displayed too. We are preparing a FAQ page with more detailed information so that there is no confusion and we plan to have it up a bit later today.

Here, Here. We really should be able to trade them... I have 2 as well.
Just queued up as a tank along with 2 guildies to check out the new buffs and their effects and got no buffs at all. I was the only warrior in the group.

Yep, hit that area on my lancer and nearly walked away from the game after a bit. Ended up having a 60 from my guild come and kill stuff.
It's so funny though when you finally get through it and hit Pathfinders Post just how much easier stuff is. At one point around 56 or 57 I went there and just grinded on mobs for a while.

If you ask them to change it for you, they can and often will. I know from experience.
