Well I'm not the one who created a thread for the sole purpose of lecturing people on how its unacceptable that no one other than CM ran for GvG Vanarch.... even though someone else did, in fact, run for GvG Vanarch.... but I guess its a general rule that the members of CM can dish it, but can not take it, since my pointing this out has left me branded a dope and "butt-hurt" (which I haven't heard since I was 12!) As it goes, I had no problem with CM, but I do have a problem with being lumped into a group that my guild clearly doesn't fit into... Again I think ya'll should get your facts straight before you just start slinging mud all around, cause it just makes a mess of everything!

As far as an "honest fashion" goes, ganking lowbies does not count... and since you now need more than one kill to win, I guess you will have to rethink your strategy! Now I'mma go sleep like a log cause I done bashed you good! he he^^

Well that is an oddity then, cause we were challenged to a GvG battle by them a week before we challenged them. The only reason we waited a week was because we couldn't challenge anyone during the Vanarch GvG election period. So I guess the question I have now is how a "dead" guild as you called it managed to challenge us.... and being as our guild announced it was on a break I guess that makes their challenge pretty pointless as well, considering all that was logging on for the week they challenged us was 3 officers and my alts....

Just want to point out that The Guild of Calamitous Intent did, in fact, run for vanarch via GvG in Helken district. You did not engage us in GvG when we ran across your players, Critical Mass. I believe it is because for all the whining you do you really only wanted a win title... otherwise you would have engaged our guild when seeing the members. I have since challenged you to another GvG battle in the hopes of being able to get back at you for your "no fighting" passive-aggressive win, but have not seen a single one of your members. I say good riddance to bad rubbish if all you're gonna do is challenge people, run away, and then [filtered] about it.

That sounds like a great idea! I'd love to see more ppl on our server getting gear and dungeons so they don't become turn cloaks and hop to DF! Let me know if there is anything The Guild of Calamitous Intent can do to help!

As I would love to believe that you had to drop guilds to transfer, this was not the case. He was spamming chat for 2 days about his transfer going through and he was still in our guild... as well as he didn't leave the guild, he simply transferred servers and was removed from the guild that way. So not sure where you got that info from Niie, unless this was an exception to the rule. >_> Then that is just a way unlucky us, and we should be compensated!^^ But yeah if they have that in place then that would be a minimal solution to the problem, they just need to make it fool proof... T_T

Well I, in my right mind, gave him access as he was a guild officer and an original member from the closed betas. Just because I gave him access does not mean he had the right to take things and hop servers. As a result of his deception I have had to demote all the members in the guild to ensure no one else gets the idea to follow his example.

I have also posted this thread in the Dragonfall server forum, which is where he has moved to.

I do think there should be safe guards for situations like these. For example, I believe if you transfer to another server you should only be able to take with you the things that were in your possession at the time of server transfer registration.

Well I would love to be able to get him back, but infiltrating his new guild and stealing from them is not hurting him, its hurting the other people who worked hard to fill that bank. Just like him taking the things within 5 minutes of his transfer was not creating rivalry, but just stealing cause he could get away with it.... On a side note, since EME has no policy on this matter there are no "legal" means to give a good turn... Plus I'm not gonna sink to his pond scum level!

I wish we could get it back, but unfortunately when my hubby asked him about it he claimed he spent the gold, sold all the runes, and used all the mats already... though I'm sure that was also a bunch of bologna! >_< Since it was only a couple hours after the transfer....

I can not see how it was right for him to take all these things from our GB, which was clearly still being used by an active guild...

As a side note to EME, you should not let a person transfere with anything more than what their character had when they put in for the transfere..... that would keep this from happening to other guilds. Its is not right that he was able to take these things within minutes of having his transfere go through. Please fix this!
