Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to that damage build video a page back. I tried it and was very very pleased with the results.

From the video, I could tell that the Lancer may have an attack speed increase (possibly 8% from weapon). I also tried out the crystals in his weapons, very effective indeed.

I'm still a 44 lancer, just got into that snowy map. While glyph'ed for dungeons (aggro skills mainly), I'm critting for 6-7k per attack on that Quick 3-consecutive attack skill - very bad with names. So if I get a lucky 3 chain crit, that's easily 18-21k on a normal mob. Of course, it helped that I bought a Lv 44 Superior lance from the AH.

Just saying that it really gave me a huge damage boost in that setup.


What cystals did you go with, i was looking at the crit ones and the slayer crystals which give + crit when below 50% health don't stack with additional ones, so did you do one of those, plus the Furious ones that do +damage when below 50% health as well?

For crafting I would just focus on Alchemy, the potions are really more beneficial than any craftable gear I have found. I almost always solo all the 5man quests, I just wait till I am one or two lvl's above the BAM and I am stocked up on my potions. I like heloism (spelling might be off) they give back both Health and mana over time. You are able to pop them while blocking if need be.

Your story quests almost always drop really good gear when you fnish them, so don't be afraid to follow the story quest from start to finish when you get to a new area and collect the piece of gear and than go back and finish all the other quests in the area before moving on. In the early levels this isn't such a big deal, but when you get to high 30's-40s mobs health+damage increase significantly.
though I usually just browse the forums, I wanted to log in and say I like your videos, I've watched the lancer ones and some of the later guides (UI) and found everything to very helpful.
