I feel like you crit at a pretty high rate there, too. Possible a little bit more than normal. And I see you have a +12 T13 Safecracker (Fanesteel wep).

Nice, only 66% the dmg of Seyon, and I dont think he was +12 T13 in his dps parses. Though, I could be wrong.

Edit: Just like BarbeQQ I noticed the overcharge. To answer his question: I always overcharged just 1 tick (while I still played TERA), as that seem(s/ed) to be the consensus best dps? Either no OC or just 1 tick. I know full OC is bad dps.

In this example, I don't think him holding back a tick or 2 would have helped. He maybe would have gotten an extra 1 or 2 TS in. I'm guessing he'd have hit maybe 45k dps then... Still significantly behind a non +12 Sorc, who just sits at range and doesn't deal with interupts, etc.

Sad part is from videos I've watched and manually tallied up, compared to my own dmg/crits I've recorded and tallied up as well... 30k or so seems to be about the DPS of a MW +9 or better Zerker. I seem to sit between 20 and 30k, at least. 30k when I go on abnormally high (so it feels like) crit streaks. Which is sad, because it doesn't get better than that for us... lol.
Hi pals. I effectively quit TERA weeks ago and just happened to browse forums today and saw this thread.

Anyway, my DPS was one of the zerkers that Seyon quoted a page or 2 ago. From my limited research/comparing with other DPS classes... yes, zerker is about 1/3 to 1/2 the DPS of a Sorc and Slayer in PvE. In my opinion the class is much less broken in PvP, but still behind. And, the discussion here is PvE DPS, so PvP talk has no place here.

That being said, the problems with the class are much deeper than crit rate. It honestly wouldn't matter if TS crit glyph were triple or not, like the slayer. That alone is not enough to fix it. I believe the triple/double crit rate glyphs ONLY go off your BASE crit. If that's true, when crunching the numbers that means a triple crit rate glyph would put TS at about 7% or so extra crit chance. That hardly will make up for a 30k versus 60k dps difference.

Though the new glyphs in QOA2 look promising, the solution, in my opinion, is NOT more charge attacks per minute. The class already has huge mana requirements, and relying on more RNG to get more attack chains in (SS->TS reset combo), combined with passive TS reduction (both glyph + buff) means that the class, in max dps output scenario, will have absolutely no mana whatsoever without help from healer class or mana pots on cooldown. Zerker will basically truely be a melee sorc... only, sorc has much much higher base dmg output and no funny RNG. All from the safety of range, with the only drawback being they are cloth and can be 1 shot by random AOE if it hits far enough away.

Fiery Rage really needs to be a toggle on/off and have a component that adds x% dmg to charge skills on MONSTERS only. You know, perhaps 35% dmg boost or something like that. But even still you're talking maybe a 20% boost in dmg then. Of course, if you combine that with the current "tweaks" in ktera that might solve it.

Regardless, the issue, I feel, is straight up raw base damage output.

As for the zerker fanbois like Xera32, well... sorry pal, but the class is very far behind the other 3 dps classes in terms of what they bring to the table with PvE dps. You don't have the same up-time on bosses as the other 3, regardless of your claims, and you do pathetic damage in comparison. It's just a reality of the class. But take comfort in knowing buffs are on the way, soon?

One of the threads in General Section... it's legit. Minea did post it, read it earlier. By now it's buried and I can't remember which page.

+9 Masterwork T13 (only 1% bonus to attack)
Wep stats:
2x behind mob dmg (total like 11.5% or there about)
1x 6% Boss dmg
1x 9% Atk Spd
1x 6% Normal mob dmg

Recorded 1st boss Fane HM... screwed up recording and ended up with 54% to dead, basically half of the encounter... but here are numbers:

92 seconds duration
2,739,411 dmg
29,776 dps

22 non crit hits (counting TS as 2 hits)
8 crits
crit rate 36%
1 ghost TS NOT counted in hit/damage total (went through mob from 4m away... zero damage, mob was knock down at the time not moving... weird)

Note: TS had a 54% crit rate with 13 non crit hits and 7 crits. And even if the one "ghost"/miss TS crit for 450k (about max I saw for that fight with no warrior in grp) dps would have been 34k... still much much lower than the 60k or so a sorc pulls.

I stack power zyrks and boss did move around a bit on this particular attempt. I had savage scroll on and had priest in group, instead of mystic.

I know it was only a 92 second duration and really need a lot more time to normalize out the dps/crit rate/etc but this falls in line with other Zerker posts in this thread - right around 30k dps.

As for PvE LOL, low damage? I crit for nearly a mil on some bosses with their self debuff, but on non debuffed bosses I crit anywhere from 300-500k CONSTANTLY (100 crit + double crit glyph on TS, you do the math. Over 200 crit with mystic aura). Learn to play and learn to build your characters before crying like a little [filtered]. If you get the correct glyph build you will ANNIHILATE dungeons. Every single group I am in comments on how insane the DPS is. GTFO.

Sorry Berserkers, but it seems Koncept has found a way to show BHS that zerkers annihilate pve dps. All planned dps buffs are to be canceled due to this young man and his epic dps build that allows for him to put even the mighty Slayer to shame. With his consistent 500k crits cutting through mobs there is no need for any other dps class in his groups. There will only be nerfs.

What?... Lethal Strike doesn't root, at all. It has 50% snare while charging. No movement restriction at all when glyphed. It's basically a harder hitting a TS, without the double crit option, and no overcharge.
Yes, it is. The little extra dmg crits a lot. The big hit does not. I wonder if it's best to sit back at 7m range and hope for big hits only to keep that double crit rate.
