I want to make this Guild a success in Tera and in doing so we are looking forward to working with other guild leaders on Frost Reach. Anyone who is looking for a solid guild where leadership wont turn their backs, and wont pull any shady tricks. Vanguard Knights is the guild you should look into. Were looking for players from around the world. However leadership is US -5GMT time based. I will be looking in on the forums hourly throughout my normal work day. Im not a big ol jerk or anything ive just dealt with clans and guilds enough to know what works and what doesnt. Ive had more success with a structured disciplined rule base then with one that had very little rules.

Were a new guild starting off fresh with Tera. We are going to be a laid back mature group that will be running guild events weekly. We don't require our membership to be hardcore dedicated but if you are then great. One thing we do emphasize is real life and family comes first. We have dedicated TS3 support currently set for 10 slots but will expand as the need requires. The guild website and forums are currently being built but in the mean time we have selected to make a closed Facebook group of the same name. The guild will be divided in a rank and order fashion. Myself as Leader/Co-founder and a good friend of mine that ive played MMOs with for several years. We both have experience running guilds on Aion, SWTOR, and Rift. In addition to those games, i have ran a very successful guild on FFXI from 2006 up until my retirement in 2010. I also had a stint as a guild leader on WoW of a 100 person guild for about 6 months while the Leader was deployed to Iraq/Afghanistan. During this time we gained success in many areas, namely in procurement of full Epics for over 60 of our members. We also did it the old fashion way by raiding and instances. My personal choices for Tera are going to be pushing as many of our members to get to endgame asap but at your leisure. I am a family man, juggle a career, and am in college. So i wont be hardcore, but i will be on at least 5 days a week.
All members will be allowed 1 main and 1 alt at first then once we have a solid list of players we can allow more alts later. We have rules and the rules will be followed are you will be gone.
1. Maturity. You will be mature. I play games to escape immature kids, therefor i don't want to deal with them in a game. I cant control that but i can control what maturity level is in the guild.
2. Honorable. You will be asked to stay honorable while with the guild, Because while with the guild you are a direct reflection of the leadership and the rest of the membership.
3. Respectful. You will be required to be respectful of all members of the guild at all times. Disrespect towards other members and specifically the leadership will not be tolerated. There are many types of people in this world and therefor there will be many types of people in game. if you cant respect them because their beliefs are different from yours, then you will be gone.
4. Participation. If there is a guild raid/instance coming up and you want drops or need the instance be online and ready when everyone else is ready to go. I will not tolerate someone saying, "im almost ready" more then a few times and have little to no tolerance for it after raid time has come and gone.
5. Have fun. Because if we aren't having fun, then whats the point.
6.Work together. We have to work together to be successful as a guild.
7. Be willing to take some criticism and offer it up. I am open to ideas but be respectful when doing so.
8. No Bots/cheating. Ive had extensive dealings with people who bot and run cheats on MMOs in the past. If i find you are cheating i will remove you from the guild and i will report you to the proper channels. Purchasing of Gold or in game currency is also included in this. I have zero tolerance for RMT (RMT=Real Money Trade) and i will not allow the members of the guild to participate. You will be removed.
9. Website registration. Once the website and forums are online, all members will be required to register. All guild raids will be posted on the website. There will also be a listing of whos going and what classes are going. I used my wireless 360 controller to level my Sorc to level 20 and didnt care much for it. i did adjust the speed of the cameras and such but it just felt more fluid and more accurate to use my mouse and N52TE or G13 Gamepad. Keyboard works well too, but the G13 and N52 just add more functionality over a controller. Plus its been proven time and time again when keyboard and mouse players go against controller users in a PVP or a 1V1 setup the keyboard and mouse users win handsdown
If thats the case then stay away from anything alienware, they are no better then a regular dell laptop. Go with an Asus. Their customer service is top notch and if you get one of the ROG branded laptops, youll get into their preferred customer program. this way if something goes wrong with your laptop, they will usually cross ship you laptops and you wont have to wait long.
