Heathenknight's Post History

Wondering the same thing, I bought physical CE from Enmasse store. Haven't received any notice of shipping. Grace period ends 03 May and I'm getting a bit antsy.

AC's take eight class's and make them 16. I really don't think the design of Tera and the combat system can be supportive of balancing 16 class's effectively and offer a different type of game play within the class's. The best option or availability Tera has is to use the Glyph option in a secondary manner or even crystals where the effect presented from them is cosmetic.

Well put.. I'll second this.
I'm lucky in that I'm not bothered by the whole motion sick thing, but I did notice a headache due to brightness (my eyes are REALLY light sensitive.. my glasses are tinted smoke grey for normal indoor wear).

I can't say if that's what's happening, might be refresh rate, but try upping the contrast and lowering gamma and brightness a bit.
Worked well for me.
I saw you guys running around, if you've got a use for a mystic or slayer I'm game.. I'll be doing mystic/priest/lancer/zerker for OB and live.

Slayer is Vexana, last name for mystic is Oaksong

I will state for the record, I am not an addict!
I can stop any time I want!
Really!

Now when can I log back in again?
I wouldn't mind a vanity item shop, like foo foo mounts or clothing items or vanity pets but that's as far as I would go.

Anything that was actually used in game for more than fun and eye candy would kill it as far as I'm concerned.

I love the game, and want it to be played for progression not bought.
Yes please to both - an auto loot or aoe loot and auto dismount for combat or gathering please!
Yes please!

And the authenticator option, either moving numbers or similar so it's not something a keylogger can grab.

I'm not a fan of the phone apps for several reasons.
Just my few cents worth -

I really enjoyed the early quests, they gave a great way to learn the interface and movement/combat without being confusing.
They did seem a bit linear but that might be intentional to help players learn the system and get comfortable with it.

I do think that leveling is bit quick, but that may just be my perception, or intentional in cb to give players a chance to play in different area quicker.

The stories that went with the quests were interesting... sometimes confusing though, not enough background.

End game may need some tweaking and filling out, and crafting definitely needs some attention, too expensive.

My suggestions -

Can't offer much regarding end game content as I'm not as familiar with it as I'd like to be.
The political system looks interesting, but I'm more into pve than pvp so probably won't get too far into that.

The lore is really interesting. Would it be possible for there to be story scrolls/books in game that are collectable with lore for the different races, areas and such? That could make for some very interesting collection and learning/mastery quest lines.

Crafting, well... here we go. Crafting in game is one of my pet passions. I love a great crafting system which this could be.
Here's what I think needs touched up a bit -
Reduce the price of early bought components so that starting out isn't a purse breaker.
Reduce the number of items, (final products that is), of the early crafting quests from 25 to 10 or so, again mostly about cost.
Don't remove the capability to learn all crafting skills, but build in a set of mastery quests that make you a master in a single one. Masters could produce better items, in their mastery, with specific benefits to each craft, but would require more interaction between crafts.
For example, a master leatherworker could produce really nice armor, but would need to get components from master armorsmith, focus crafter, alchemist.. etc.. to produce. Mastery could also give access to special recipes that can only be produced by masters.
I don't mean the way WoW handled it by giving crafters things that only they could use though, that limits the utility of a mastery system.
The high end master crafted items should be just as good as end game dropped items, but require components only available from end game content.

Add fishing!.. well.. that one's a personal favorite time killer. If I want to play but don't really have the energy to quest/raid/(whatever), I like to fish.

PVP - won't touch this as I haven't done enough to matter yet.

Mechanics - I'd like to have an option to make keybindings apply to all of my characters so I don't need to redo it each time.

I'm sure there are other, and probably better ideas, floating around so if someone sees something in one of my suggestions and wants to tweak it up feel free. I'm throwing this together before work so might not be the most coherent.

That would be great if possible....
