ImperialPanda's Post History

Still don't know why they didn't just use vbulletin.

Let's do a ton of work to get 1/10 of a forum.
Rendfall is getting cheaper. Yes the higher attack and the 3% is worth the minor raise in price over agnitor. This is compared to cost of mes, spellbind, ex alka, etc involved in masterworking, statting and echanting. You get a good return on your gold getting rendfall over mindslash.

Regent is obviously better than abyss but the price jump is a lot higher. While it's "better," you don't necessarily need the best when it's only PvE. Abyss +12 weapon, as long as you got the rest of your stuff in order and play well, will give you a comfortable margin for anything you want to do. So getting regalblade is really just gold spent for no return. Again it's better, it's nice, but only if you have the gold to spare.

For PvE, if you want the best bang for your buck, go

+12 rendfall (abyss weapon)
+9 agnitor armor

Which is good enough for anything with a comfortable margin. You can go +12 gloves if you want, any gloves (so prolly agnitor).

For PvP, if you have a reliable MCHM static, you can live on a +9 fraywind weapon/body until you get visionmaker. (which, if you do get, would also replace your rendfall for pve obviously)

Otherwise, just go +12 conjunct.

PvP gloves/boots just go +12 conjunct until you can get bloodrave (or until you can get visionmaker, but you should get those vm pieces last).

Regent is pretty if you have gold to spare, but not really worth it at AV prices.

Looks pretty boring.

But I suppose it's something to do for people who can't actually PvP.
you're sol
It doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. If the nexus warhorse was also 275, ok it's a little more understandable, but it's 280....
Many of the class balance changes went into effect in a january ktera patch, along with the new raids/instances. Energy stars being the one I remember most.

i see so many people spamming and making conversations with no sense at all about the game.

Which is... you know... the reason why a global was created in the first place.

i think the reason why the global chat was created is for:

- Vanarch
- Find or recruit people for guilds
- Nexus
- Make questions ABOUT the game.
- trade*
- maybe others...

*The other problem is the trade chat because the defaults tabs dont have it.
you need to customize the tab to see trade chat,

the cd of global chat could fix the problem.

Tera history lesson.

1) In the land without global, people used LFG for everything you see in global today.
2) People were sadpanda.
3) Global was added, random stuff went there, all lived happily ever after.

The end.

Global is the trash bin for all the random chat people want to type. If you restrict it people will just find some other way to type what they want to type.

You don't need to run out, you just plant your face on the mob's [filtered] and do your skills. HT will hit at melee range if it's a bam, and usually it will hit for normal mobs too.

It's basically a three step process.

1) Get your carving glyphs cause slayer dps is crap without it. You're worth less as a dps than a well geared/spec'd and skilled lancer who is also tanking the boss at the same time.

2) Turn on your skill cd notice and get a feel for your cooldowns so you smoothly go from one skill to the next. Learn to watch for and react to skill resets. There's no set "rotation." It varies depending on the boss's attacks and whether resets proc. Just know your combos, and be aware what's available and what's coming off cd at any given moment.

3) Knockdown strike and heart thrust can't be canceled by dodge. Learn boss's attacks so you attack safely.

The end.
They said in January when the F2P patch hit that it was coming some time in March. Although it was a very offhand remark. Guess that didn't work out.
