From what Widgit is saying, I'm assuming the best thing you can be doing is to keep closing and re-opening your launcher itself. Not the game client but your launcher until it patches. I'm at least going to give that a shot for a few minutes.


Just continually opening and closing only? Or should I be signing in as well?

I looks to me the updating doesn't fully run unless you sign in. Ah the fun of patch days.

Thanks for the info. I usually try and get a group together through LFG but the instance matcher is nice for when I'm too lazy.
I love tanking with my Warrior, but I don't see any way of flagging myself as a Tank rather then a DPS in the instance Matching tool. Is there any way flag myself as a Tank/Defender rather then as DPS/Attacker? Or will I always be paired with a Lancer.
Well you could just stick to the kill X number of mobs quests.
I think the amount of XP you get from the quests more then makes up for the small amount of time that it takes to travel to a new area, find the quest givers, and then to, or back to, where you receive your reward. Also by doing the quests you'll see more areas around the game world and fight a greater verity of mobs, then if you just grind in one area on on type of mob.
There's also the issue that it's not really worth crafting any of the low level stuff as it's cheaper (on my server any way) / easier to get better equipment at the Trade Broker then it is to get the Titan (boss) runes needed to make anything worth while. I haven't gotten up to the higher levels of crafting to know how worth while it is, but at least at sub 250 levels I've found crafting for armor and weapons to be COMPLETELY WORTHLESS. I've only made 3-4 items to use as enchanting fodder just because I had the mats to burn.

Trade is only useful If you're looking for a crafted item. Everything else is going to be at the broaker.

I concur that there should be a global channel specifically for chatting though.
