You really do not pay attention do you? What was mentioned was a one time change during the registration period of the election. OP even said as much and edited it on the main post. It's not a willynilly change every day of the week. I have no idea where you would even begin to think such a thing

I love how having real life issues is such a "problem" to other people. If you had a death in the family that is across the country and had to move back across to support your family, I'm pretty sure you would say 'F*** it' to the game too. This isn't even about mid term bailing, the last few people who commented support the ability to change hands in between the elections

A name is a name my friend. You need to lighten up. And how do you know that player did not get warned by a GM for his comments? You dont.
Harassment is against the ToS, which you are clearly guilty of. You cant just fly off the handle at someone just because of a name. M-rated games is for adult content, not just so you can harass some guy on the internet. You have no rights on the game

There should be no reason to not be able to change hands of the guild. If anything, they could just allow it so if the guild changes GM then the guild automatically loses control of their province and all shops close. I would be ok with that even
Finally someone who gets it. Not sure why so many aggressive people in here. This is the situation for many, some guilds know there GM isn't coming back as well. That kind of thing. They dont wish to take the vanarchy seat, just be able to run themselves without the guild falling apart because GM is unable to play for reason X Y Z.

Right now, I am a leader of a guild and I also have a Vanarch position. However, literally a day before the next reign period starts, I will need to take a hiatus for personal reasons. The problem I have is that my guild still wants to be a Vanarch but under the reign of one of my officers in my absence. The problem? I cannot pass Guildmaster to anybody while we are a Vanarch. That would require us to drop out completely of the Vanarch seat and skip the next election just so we can change the Guildmaster over while I'm gone. I know they don't want people becoming Vanarch, and then just leaving guild or whatever and reaping the benefits but why can't we change the Guildmaster during the Registration period at least? It isn't always a case of a guild leader screwing people over.
The problem I have is that even if leather drops (Which I have yet to see a SlumberJacket drop at all), there are usually 3 people in the party that use them Whether its a guild run or LFD, The usual party is Lancer, Healer, Slayer, Warrior and me (Archer). You would think that seeing as the most players in the game wear leather, that it would drop the most frequently. It's kinda a bunch of bull****. Our guild bank is just packed full of Enig Cloth and Plate drops that no one can use
