You make a stand and can't defend it. People are calling it and you're playing the victim. This is classic. No one is upset, no one is raging about this. We are simply asking for clarification and getting back peddles and finger pointing to the other guy. Any publicity is good publicity! The defaming is coming in because Enclave refuses to back up their claims. People usually get a good name by saying what makes them exceptional, and doing what is generally seen as acceptable. The problem is you're saying they're are bad guys out there, refusing to name them, then saying "Vote for me, we're going to keep these bad guys that we made up at bay!"

It's in the first post of your thread, from a player in the guild, so you can't really pull a "that's not us saying that" trick. As I said, and it's even in what you quoted, "Enclave is attempting to throw people under the bus, which wouldn't be such a terrible thing if it wasn't for the fact that they're lying and refuse to prove their claims." No one is worried about you, so don't think this is, "oh they're not in first place so they're threatened by us." It's about Enclave running a scare campaign and attempting to be the good guys by saving people from the big ol' baddies that don't exist.

No, they won't. Because it's against their policy to name these guilds. The major selling point of this thread was to prove how much better they are than X and Y. But's who's X and Y...? That's not important, what is important is that they are bad and we are good, because we say so.

And I find it amusing that anyone is accusing me of griefing when all I was doing was supporting Enclave in this thread, and a few trolls decided to nitpick about whether zerg guilds actually exist or not, when obviously, the term wouldn't even exist if there weren't such a thing. It's not like they're mythical creatures.

People hear something negative about a few people and they assume it to be the cookie cutter for everyone else. There are all different kinds of Something Awful users, just as there are many different types of users in every internet community. But one truth stands, it's a group of individuals with almost the same type of humor. This humor does not include screwing over the market and system that would bring absolutely no benefit to themselves, as explained by Daijoubu. "Yeah, higher taxes! So... no one will buy.. from us..." Makes SO much sense.

you`re also pretty famous on urbandictionary, and maybe you`re all amazing, friendly and awesome people, not like i`d know since i don`t, but people gain bad reputations for a reason, otherwise why even associate yourself with it if you weren`t like that?
