Jobear's Post History

I pre-purchased the day it was available and played both weekends and right now I don't like it and am considering a refund before it's too late. Love the structured pvp, but hate hate hate the pve. I'm the type who'd rather just kill stuff to get to max, but GW2 pretty much forces you to do a bit of everything, which I find all of it boring, so leveling in that game is a huge pain for me.

If they don't adjust mob exp then I'll have to ask myself if the one pvp mode is worth 60 dollars alone, and with how awful the combat is compared to TERA, the answer will likely be no.

Explain to me

Na. It's obvious you're here to bash the game rather than discuss it.
Sweet first post.
After Fyremount/Serpentis at 50 I went to Kaiator to follow the story stuff, you'll find 3 more zones there.
Yep. I never had the problem before then after one of the patches suddenly it would randomly rubberband me.
As a person playing on a pvp server, I couldn't be happier about this change. Dodging pvp on a pvp server with channels was just stupid.
L2 - My clan fell apart. It's still my favorite MMO, but the changes they made to WoWify it are really bad. I might try to get back into it sometime since it's free.

Aion - I still like the game overall but the end game is just horrible with manastones and enchanting. Pvp is completely gear and rng based, no skill involved. I played a cleric and it took me months to get pvp gear and socket full MB, and now I'd have to resocket MA or get a new set and do that just because everyone stacks magic resist to such high levels, that I won't be able to even hit anyone unless I'm fully stacked MA. It's just garbage pvp.

TERAs end game PVP will determine if I stick around or not.
No. There are things I dislike about it, but overall I do very much like it.
I don't really understand why people want their character to be a special snowflake that changes the world in an MMO.. Isn't that more of a single player RPG type thing? has there ever been an mmo where your characters story is unique and meaningful? lol
Kind of lame to see this going down the same path that Aion did with this cash shop for weapon skins, why not just put them in game for achievements? As for everything else, drop it all at LEAST 4 dollars.
