I'm guessing the people complaining are casual slayers that couldn't play their way out of a paper bag.

A mystic takes ten times as long as dps classes to kill in pvp, and is punished harshly for any mistakes or unlucky knockdowns, whereas a slayer that procs a single knockdown can kill a mystic 100-0 by mashing spacebar.

Honestly mystic play is much better in small groups, where you see much more use of CC's, dispels, and healing overall. 1v1 it boils down to cycling escapes, refreshing your dot, and popping thrall of life and praying your opponent doesn't get lucky.

And yet it also mean he defeated them only because of luck . Video like this are entertaining and not instructional(Although his video were neither). Also the few fight in the video was him always jumping on the people.

For future video/reference..

1- Tell us which level are the player you"re fighting and their name if they allow it. Because no one want to see themselves getting destroyed. Hell you don't know if one of them were drunk or were simply not motivated for fighting or playing with 1 hand in the back. Make the viewing count.

2- No one care that you can kill some random dude on a pvp server and what your musical taste is. Record more than 3 fight before making a video and pick the better fight in the lot.

3- You had no editing outside of the music. You can add stuff like your mistake during the fight or the mistake of the other fighting you. Present your character in the beginning .Make it more useful for the people watching it.

4- When you make a video .. It's not 'about you'. People will notice when you just try to flex your peen, You need to add value. Showing yourself losing for instance can be great. Try to be more original . Hell you can even have different perspective (from the guy fighting you)

5- Fighting in different kind of situation. Your 3 fight looked atrociously similar.

Here's a great PVP video. You will notice the difference.

It's awful. Players should be "red" 24/7 outside of safe zones on PvP servers. Or stay white and go red ONLY for slaughtering players far lower level.

You want people to stay red 24/24 but than want people to turn red only when griefing? Make up your mind. I never understood the fun into an Open world PVP without faction or reason to do it.

It's just seem to be a waste of time and probably only fun if you want to gank or grief. If you just wanted to PVP .. Just stay in the city and duel everything that move. There's not even any reason to kill everything that move. There's no Karma or fame by doing so or loot to get or new abilities

You run around and see someone going for a quest or fighting mob.. Let's KILL HIM!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. That's PVP BABY!.. There"s no fun when there's no competition.
No point.
it's a warrior .. Not a very good pvp' character low level I heard.. You had a friend who seem to have been killed before your video started and ye healed yerself while he never did ..

It's was not a very good video .. It's showed nothing. I agree that the guy should just have left when he noticed you keep healing yourself and he had no heal.

If you want to show yer skill. Do a duel vs a warrior 3 level higher while he use heal and you don't

I see plenty of hole in your system. The RED system of UO with bounty pre t2a was so exploited by the pk'er. Some would just farm newbies or craftsman and their bounty would become high. Than a friend would just kill them and collect the cash and give it to Mr, PK who just macro'ed his way back to 100 in a couple of day.

Good time good time. Until the whole system was changed.

You have to reward both sides. Otherwise it's nearly impossible to get going in PvP once a game has been out a while. Who cares when people say "handing out gear"? Anyone who pvps knows that's completely false anyways. Carebears fear PvP like the plague and will say anything to diminish it.

BGs also give a better PvP experience on short notice. World PvP is fun, but it's not quickly accessible most of the time. Besides world PvP is who has more people most of the time anyways, which while fine isn't exactly representative of any kind of skill. BGs at least offer a fair, more or less, battle.

Both should be rewarded equally ideally, but the nature of world PvP makes it difficult to reward properly, it's so sporadic/random.

This ^

Open world pvp is a gankfest. And contrary to popular belief, ganking isnt pvp. It's "we have more people than you, or we are higher level and you don't stand a chance".

At least instanced pvp has even numbers and an objective. While I love open world pvp (from UO days) it's not really that great. Sure there will be a couple battles here and there where the numbers are kinda balanced, but most times is 3vYou or 10v3 which sucks.

From where I come from . Ganking were people fighting other people who stood no chance of winning. It"s the player having an unfair advantage in a fair context over someone else.

For instance. The Stealher 1 shotting mage. He was ganked. Or the Low RR PUG group running into a stacked high RR group and getting killed faster than a Yorkshire in the mouth of a shark.

On the other side. There's the people that just want to make your time miserable. They will stalk you, camp your corpse and do everything in their power to make you miserable. That probably the reason next gen mmorpg has instanced zone now a day.

Ganking is actually PVP.
Someone who play more should be more rewarded over time. Nothing wrong with this. Or maybe you just picked the wrong type of game. There's plenty of game where you start equal to everyone else.

In DAOC you had to Level , Farm $$$ to purchase decent armor ( you had to know the crafter before the housing system) , Get to champion level 5 , Get to ML10 , Get to a decent Realm Rank through RVR and get artifact and farm scroll for hours and horus than level those after . It's took dedication but everyone accepted it. Some player did it better and faster than others . Some took longer. Some people farmed for week and established a market.

But in the end.. it's was fun. Because the community participated in every aspect. Now people are so spoiled they want 'everything' because it's FAIRRR! I hate Battleground also. Well the Bg in DAOC was quite fun but it's was open for everyone on the realm the same level. It's was not a counter-strike match.

What made so many game in the past so awesome was the community. Now it's MEMEME and I don't have time so I instant jump in the battlegrounds. No more effort and dedication. It's the MCDO of gaming.

I`m not Canadian .. j'suis Québécois!!!!!!!!
