Yup, it works to great effect. Situations like these make it necessary to bind all your skills to easily memorized keybinds, whether or not they're chained. Furthermore, there's a sightly delay associated with using the spacebar to chain skills (0.5s give or take). If you're a perfectionist, I suggest learning pure keybinds and forgetting about spacebar.
Also, that'd idea of using overhand strike would work, but I don't have it bound to any key since I can chain it with space from about every other move. ( I guess shift right click might be a good bind for it then)

You can cancel Heart Thrust by casting Overhand Strike first, and then dodge immediately. You can also cancel out of Knockdown Strike and Whirlwind this way. If your Overhand Strike is on CD, there's nothing you can do. But I like this mechanic since it makes our casted skills a bit risky. It would be too easy and boring if Evasive Roll could cancel skills associated with a cast time.
By "jump into the air and slam their [filtered] onto the ground", do you mean the crab boss in FoK? If so, remember that our Evasive Roll has invulnerability frames. Therefore, it's just a matter of knowing when the crab will slam onto the ground after it jumps. In this case, your distance from the boss does not matter, but rather, the timing of your dodge.

Agreed. I've been fortunate enough to get the master glyph I sorely wanted from a Practicum Box, along with a decent glyph and a below-average one. But I've heard tales of the three white alkahest dropping for ppl quite a few times. I have a feeling that my luck will run out soon just by mentioning it. ><
Us Western players can tolerate RNG, but only to a certain extent. These common items like alkahest and scrolls need to stay out of the Practicum Boxes. I wouldn't care if I had a string of below-average master glyphs dropping, as long as I know that nothing useless comes out of them.

You got one shot from 100% HP? That only happens if you bring a Slayer down to like 5% HP and he's running Fury Strike glyphs. My +6 Swarmsword, which seems to hit as hard as (if not harder) than my +9 Dayslayer, needs about 5 Overhand Strikes in order to kill a PVP-geared Archer. Without low HP and Fury Strike, I cannot one-shot anyone in equal gear. Therefore, I think you're over-exaggerating. It would make more sense to complain about Slayer's high knockdown rate, which is what usually screws ppl over.
You're right that this game is focused on group PVP, though. One of our guild's Archers does perfectly fine; he can aim and hit like a truck with Radiant Arrow. An Archer with a T13 Masterworked bow is even more fearsome. This is as long as he isn't focused, but that applies to all classes either way. Generally, the highest priority targets in PVP are cloth wearers, so if you can keep your distance from the fray, you can 2 or 3-shot ppl with the right setup and some lucky crits.
Also, I'm not sure where the "ride on the back of a lancer" bit came from. o.O

The Nexus mount and even the Night Mare are only 280 speed. The community manager has only mentioned that the dropped mount is from hell. You didn't even provide screens, so you, sir, are a troll.

Backstab's tooltip is wrong; it's a root instead of a stun. During it, players can still attack, as well as use evasive skills like dodge and movement skills like Headlong Rush/Teleport Jaunt/Charging Lunge.
Against Sorcs, remember that their Time Gyre is a lock-on skill, and its tell is that of blue-glowing hands. Try waiting a second or two after the lock-on notification and dodge. If you're unable to dodge it, a smart sorc will stay out of your Backstab range (11-12m), while his Mindblast just barely hits you. During root, Distant Blade him to make him flinch/stagger and hope for a knockdown. It will also inch you forward, hopefully into Backstab range. If not, then proceed to Headlong Rush after the inevitable Fireblast and Stunning Backhand opener.
To get better vs any class, it's all a matter of finding a duel partner.

Go for Slayer if you want great dps in the form of crits, high mobility, 2-3 stuns, and plenty of knockdowns. You'll see a lot of players complain about them. It's one of the easiest classes to play, however, and you may eventually become bored of it. Sorc gameplay is much more dynamic, but you'll find yourself hard pressed vs melee due to having to kite them.
Well, that's the thing. Your DPS will not be optimal if you choose to skip Crux crystals. At the very least, Concachs can offer similar performance while being nearly twice as cheap to buy. These are what I chose to use at first since Pristine crystals from the specialty store are a bit lackluster.
Good groups will inspect their members' gear to see if they put effort into the right setup, and crystals are no exception. Since you lack enigmatics, especially the weapon, you have to use good crystals/accessories/consumables to make up for them.
Since you're in a guild, your guildies should be getting better at these dungeons as time goes by. You could also man up and take the lead, asking your guildies if they've learned proper skill rotations/priorities, gear setups, dungeon strats, etc.
And yes, zyrks have a chance to break when you die. :(

Make sure to use all Crux versions of those crystals to squeeze the most crit damage possible. Invest in crit dmg rings and necklace if you haven't already. Use crit rating zyrks or farm Shariar rep if you haven't already. If you run with a Mystic, use Scroll of Savagery instead of Carving. Also, try to run with a Warrior for their Traverse Cut. It makes a good difference when combined with a Lancer's Debilitate.
Get a Dayslayer asap for 2x attack speed and increased damage to boss/dmg from rear. Non-enigmatics like Enduring Blade only have 3 stats, as opposed Dayslayer's 8.
I run with Keen, Enduring, and Infused Charms for PVE. For PVP, I might switch out Keen for Strength and Enduring for Mirror. Speed Charm may also be a good choice if you're stacking attack speed, but I have yet to test it out.
I need some help with DPS.
My build is http://www.teraguru.ru/glyphcalc.html#sl60:100000000010110000000010000010000000000000001100000000000001
i have 56+11 unbuffed crit rate.
Currently only have t12 hands +6
Crystals: Savage, Focused, Forceful and Acrimonious.
Scroll im using the carving for increased crit chance
Im not carrying any charms but i guess i should invest in some, not sure which ones.
So heres my question, why is my damage so low? most of my attacks are below 30k, between 14-25k and crits are usually around 60-90k and towards the end ill get 130k
I know theres something im doing wrong, but i cant put my finger on it, i feel like im taking a foam bat and beating the bosses with it.
