we will just have to wait and see what these changes actually feel like.

im also shocked that mindblast has been nerfed so severely.

there are buffs in there that im happy about, like the neve exhaustion and knockdown on painful trap, but what im really concerned about right now is the removal of our void pulse fireblast combo. perhaps on some extremely rare occasion we will be able to do it, but because its flight speed has been increased and mindblast can no longer hold a target long enough to actually cast anything in between, i doubt we will ever be able to use it in a 1v1 situation, unless we use stun as setup

on the other hand, because shared fireblast no longer exists (and the glyph of energy which is supposed to compensate for it... by reducing cooldown by... 1 second... looks pretty useless on paper) we will probably be able to fit some other thing into our glyph builds.

this is a pretty huge patch. and tera isnt a brand new game anymore. balances are to be expected.

im sure the developers know what they are doing. its just something we will all get over and get used to.

but really... no shared fireblast... archers might as well be called the "nuke" class now...

i just posted in another "shared fireblast" thread. i tested the difference between shared fireblast and non-shared fireblast in group PvP, its huge. what i said before this edit - about no shared fireblast... at first i wasnt so grave. but now i understand how big of a nerf this is, and i will quit tera, or at very least my sorcerer, if the removal of shared fireblast is complete. they are making a joke out of sorcerers AoE DPS.

i mean seriously, at least give us a powerful self heal if you SERIOUSLY intend on making us a "support class" rather than a glass-cannon nuke class.

Shared fireblast is now a passive skill for fireblast that you can buy from your skill trainer.

Well, I hate to tell you guys this but the reason alot of people that play it now did not support it at the start was because this was a stolen game. This game was what Linage 3 was going to be. It is stolen Linage 3 designs. I don't remember if it was before or during the games beta that Tera lost the court case against NCsoft. In other words they had enough to prove in a court of law that the game was stolen. Tera was order to pay damages. My guess is the game was not shut down because by the time the ruleing came it was to far along.

So, sorry for not wanting to put money into a game that was going through the legal system for theft. I do suppose they could give you guys a "Played before it was legit" title.
