Fenrir for Vanarch!!
The current LFG is fine really. As people become aware of it and how to use it, there shouldn't be any problems with finding a group. To fully explain how it works, here's an example sequence of events:

1. John and 3 friends form a group for a dungeon, but need a healer
2. John opens the LFG Applicants interface and sees that there currently aren't any healers waiting to join a group
3. John puts up a note / message / ad / whatever in the LFG saying what dungeon the group is for and that they need a healer
4. Mark, a priest, checks the LFG listing and sees John's note.
5. Mark clicks on a button next to the note which asks for a party invite from John
6. John sees the request and accepts it. Mark joins the party
7. Everyone makes their way to the dungeon.

If by dungeon finder, you mean an interface that automatically forms groups based on who is in queue and lets you teleport to the dungeon... don't expect it. I haven't seen any credible information that suggests that kind of change.

I have a question about the guild verse build.
Say the guild i am in does this. Do i still have a choice not to pvp flag? Or is it every one in the 2 waring guilds are open game for being killed?

This could be a make or break for me. On pve servers pvp should never happen with out my consent. Not my guild leaders mine!

As Minnea has stated, they're still working on the GvG system for PvE servers. They likely can't answer that yet.

In case you're not aware, GvG declaration on a PvP server means all guild members are flagged for the opposing guild and show up on the minimap when nearby. If you don't want to fight against a guild that you're at war with, you would have to leave your guild or forfeit the war. Of course quest hubs and cities are still safe zones.
I'm not exactly certain what you're saying here, but think the answer is: you can remodel gear to look like another item of the same type.
Join a guild rolling on a PvP server. You'll make plenty of friends and enjoy the game. Simple.
Honestly, it's very easy to save yourself from a gank. Once someone flags, their name turns red. All you have to do is switch channels before they attack you, or go to a safe zone (camp / town / city) and switch or wait for them to leave. Most of the quest hubs are safe zones (no PvP at all).

Even when I quested by myself, I only got attacked like once or twice (not including GvG) throughout all of CBT2. To abandon a game because of such a small factor would seem silly, but whatever.
Right now, we don't know anything about battlegrounds. As for the dungeon finder thing, there is a LFG system, but it doesn't create groups. It lists the current groups that are looking for people and you can ask to join the party or ask people to join your party.

As for deathmatches, those are effectively duels for multiple people. They let you have up to 10v10 matches on the fly. If you start a deathmatch, you can invite people to it or people can click you and join it. Then you can arrange the teams and start it once everyone's ready.
On PvP servers, there is the possibility that higher-level players can gank you, but they don't gain anything from doing so. If you get ganked, you can switch channels to get away from them. If you play with a group of people, you probably won't get ganked unless you're at war with another guild.

As for OW PvP areas, there haven't been any in the CBTs so far, but there's supposed to be some different things like that either at launch or shortly after.

Characters will be wiped after all 5 CBTs have ended (last CBT ends April 8th). Between then and OBT (April 19th) the servers will allow preordered accounts to create their characters. Those characters will persist through OBT, headstart, and launch.

This was officially stated at http://tera-forums.enmasse.com/forums/general-discussion/topics/FAQ-Beta-plan-feedback-and-character-wipes

Do we know how the name reserve will work prior to Open Beta?

With a preorder, you'll be able to choose a server and create your character a couple days before OBT starts.
