Kor is also right about the horns. If you look at them closely, you can tell that the shade of them are different on the kids, than on the male and female. They craft fake horns for their kids and have them wear them until they start to grow.

What makes you think they craft fake horns? That loading screen with the castanics crafting fake horns is because wearing them is a fashion thing for human nobles that wear them at parties.

Thats what I was wondering about Freya and Kaidun...I mean, so she would never get pregnant?
Or if she did, would it be a hideous, stillborn dreg?

We don't know how long they were together for, for all we know Freya did then kept it secret from everyone even her cousin Elleon or maybe she never did. It's impossible to know for sure unless some random dude pops up saying "I am the son of Freya and Kaidun!" and then we'd have to judge by their features.

To my knowledge, the pair in Celestial Hills is the sole example of a mixed race couple (with a child) and so we have to use them as the known example. But as Kor pointed out, Castanics are cursed so any child from them will be a full blooded castanic if that is true. But then again, something else occurs to me, the child in question is labeled as the daughter of the castanic chick, we don't even know if the human male is the father, for all we know she could be a widow.

So going by the lore and examples in game we have so far, I have to presume that the races (with the exception of castanics) can only breed with each other, but a Castanic female will always give birth to a castanic because of their divine curse regardless of the father's race. Save maybe they inherit something from the dad, a castanic fathered by an elf could have softer features, maybe extra magical ability, and one sired by an aman could be physically more developed or have similar horns to the father.

Though this brings up the opposite issue: can a castanic male impregnate any female? Presumably so with the same result, she will birth a castanic in such a scenario.

Edit:

That is how the castanics will take over the world! XD Couldn't resist.

There is a human male with a castanic female wife and daughter in Celestial Hills. Though since the daughter is a Castanic it leads me to believe that the mothers breed true, at least as far as castanics go.

As for the aman raising a child, I can believe it if the child shows sufficient strength, assuming your character is strong enough the female might be impressed enough to raise him in addition the aman tend to value the safety and freedom of others a great deal, especially those weaker then them.

With the elves, I imagine it would come down to the individual. I mean look at Fraya and Kaidun, both accomplished veterans of the argon war that kick so much [filtered] their boots permanently smell of farts, I don't think anyone would try and boss the two of them around TBH.

3 cheers for all of you who rely on an IMS for progression!

I'd rather slam my nuts in the bathroom door, than use the IMS.

It would be fine if there could be an expectation of success when you use the IMS, I've always solo queued, done fine. It gets a bad rap methinks.
Non-enchantable gear used as a "starter" set for the next tier so new 60's can catch up, calling it now. =o
The nerf is only a small nerf to mob HP, damage remains intact along with all of their mechanics. Honestly they really only needed to nerf the Meldita tentacle HP, everything else was fine. Drop rates are similarly staying the same.

If they were doing a 30% nerf damage AND HP and massively increasing the drop rates then the OP might have a point.
Santa hats.
Random is random. I'd rather they just remove the mob crit resist and show us a flat % for our crit. Hiding information from us is not fun.

Well, for most people, it's not as easy as you describe it.

Have you ever played a melee class against BAMs that do death walk?

If you are looking at the BAM from far away, you can easily tell when it starts slow walking.

If you are close to the BAM (By close, I mean melee range), you will take the first hit even before you notice it starts to slow walk because you are already in range of the BAM's death walk. That first hit that you inadvertently take can either knock you down or make you flinch, both of which might prevent you from using evasive skills.

So, you can't always get out of the way when it does it. I don't know how death walk is entirely preventable. Melee classes already start to take damage before they can read the tell.

You said that you yourself sometimes get caught in the trampling, but yet, you say it's entirely preventable. It's not entirely preventable. You MIGHT get lucky and get out of the way sometimes, but not always, and when the BAM is enraged, it's even worse.

This. If they don't remove the trample entirely (which should have been done ages ago) then they either need to remove the chance on stun from the trample or nerf the damage by a good 90-95%. They ought to bear in mind one of the simplest rules for any action game, the easier it is to avoid, the more damage it should do. The reverse is also true, unavoidable attacks from an enemy should be weak.
I'm leveling a mystic right now, literally right this moment for my third 60, and I will say the class needs more then two attacks.

Possible solutions:

1. Make thrall of vegeance and or protection, permanent pets that attack whatever target you are currently attacking automatically and up their damage by a degree significant enough that they are a boon in solo play.

2. Make volley of curses one big dot instead of stackable.

3. Maybe an extra long distance attack or two.

4. A few close range attacks as well.
