Depending on your gear, the Kelba Charger's northeast of Pathfinders Post may be a good option. They are pretty high density, and the place is pretty damn deserted most of the time...though it could probably support 4-5 people killing them in each channel.

Minion damage, critical multiplier, minion damage reduction and regen crystals will make these guys go by with minimal effort. I'd just agro however many I wanted, run em into a nice little pack, then turn and Heart Thrust>Overhand>Knockdown and that pretty much kills them.

You just proved my point that most PvPers are nothing but trolls and troll supporters.

I get an immense kick out of the distress felt by the unmitigated asses when they are deprived the chance to engage in the questionable activity of antagonizing lowbies. If you think that makes me a troll, then I am only left to ask one question...

Umad?
Naw, it's just RNG. You have ups and downs. Spent about an hour and a half farming them this morning. First hour I got literally nothing and then in the last half hour I got 3 Complete's, 2 Semi's and a vitriol.

Completely. Effing. Random.

What the OP is not getting is DGKK is a guild of TROLLOLs. They aren't taking away PvP to ruin it, they are taking it away to troll you because they are a bunch of douche bags. Besides, they aren't voted in by other people who enjoy them. They are voted in by exploits. Just like how Shatter always wins it's PvP vanarchy by kill feeding.

Just Ignore DGKK, they just want attention, something mommy and daddy never gave them.

The GvG vanarch is easily exploitable yes, hell I think there were only 2 "real" guilds running in Kanstria and the other upteen were feeders.

But the voting side...that's not too easy to exploit. Sure you can make new accounts and level up a character, but that does take a fair bit of work. Rather, I think you sorely underestimate the number of folks who think DGKK random use of the off switch is utterly hilarious. Very few things in this game give me the warm and fuzzy feeling I get when some overly twinked level 30-sumthin' throws a fit in global or makes a thread on the board here. Hell, half the time when they do it I go use my 60 priest to buff the lowbies and pass out XP boosts just cause I know they'll actually get to make use of em rather than getting one-shot 3 minutes later by some griefer.

This is why DGKK gets my vote on all three of my accounts every election. =)

You guys should go over to a RP server if you want to roleplay so much. This is just an excuse for you to zerg people and try to get people to give you money. If you ACTUALLY cared about "saving" the bams you wouldn't be selling people permits to kill them. Also I don't see you saving the bams that aren't lvl59/60 do I? All those poor bams that aren't being protected.

I don't think I've ever seen someone so badly miss a point in all of my life. And I've dealt with some pretty dull folks...
In the end, the plain truth off the matter is that some people out "open world" are just trying to get something done, and others are out looking for a fight. Think of it like this...

Specimen A.) Joe Blow is running around questing with random charms, hunters/stalwart crystals in, no scrolls or consumables active or at hand ready to go, and glyphed for killing good ol' regular mobs in his studly blue quest rewarded gear.

Specimen B.) Mr. PK is properly glyphed/crystaled for PvP, running 3 Greater Charms, scrolled up, pots in hand and his superior gear all +9'ed (or whatever, varies with level...you know what I mean you lvl 27 MW twinks).

Now, a betting man would probably pick a pretty obvious candidate here as the likely victor should Joe Blow and Mr.PK cross paths. Outlawing is adding an element of risk to serve as a counterweight to the (more often than not)laundry list of advantages the aggressor is going to have seeing that he set out with mischief in mind.

If you are flagged up and actively attacking other players, odds are you have probably caused someone some unwanted inconvenience. If some passerby notices you're red and happens to ruin your picnic, it's just karma.

Besides, with Complete Crystalbind pretty much flooding the market weekly, and even lowbies being able to make freakish amounts of money at lower level...there really is no substantial penalty for being PK'd while outlawed other than what might be a less than convenient geographic relocation.
I killed 29 BAM's in the time it took me to alt tab back and forth reading this thread...just sayin'

Didn't think this one through very well did you?
This will annihilate every non-warrior class way more than it'll hurt warriors, and the suggestion is obviously aimed at warriors.

lulz...sounds like someone doesn't want his toys taken away.

One minute would be too short a CD though. Rift had a similar ability on a 3 minute CD and that worked pretty well. The trick to something like this is to put a cooldown on it that's scaled to the average CC effect cooldown. It should be an "OH SH-" button that you can hit every now and again, not a standard issue instant response to every CC you get nailed with.

Control effects are an important part of games like this in PvP...you can't throw something in that completely trivializes them, but they can't be permitted to stampede unchecked either. TERA is kinda failing with regards to properly implementing them in PvP though.

Is the mount usable while in combat?
Like, the guy is about to die so he jumps into his mount and runs away.

Not really...If he is able to avoid getting hit long enough to drop combat he can mount, but its not special that he can mount while fighting. Could make someone able to catch you easier though, or get away if you don't tag them.
Elite players get a handful of different things that more or less are tilted towards the PvE side of the game. Increased rewards from quests, XP boosts, gold boost in the form of 1-hour daily buffs.

They do also get a free 280 speed mount and a 30 day village atlas. While they wouldn't have any direct effect in a PvP *fight*, they could have potential implication in the PvP "grand scheme of things" on a situational basis.

The cash shop contains a laundry list of things that can shortcut to better gear faster, but nothing there *requires* you to be Elite status to purchase. But even the cash shop items (excepting leveling packages) aren't going to play a part in the actual "fight" between you and another player, only provide additional resources for equipping your character faster.

The leveling packages contain a few potions that are useable up through level 50 that can heal or increase damage, but they are unusable past 50.

Long story short, Elite status will not give you any item/ability to inflict/take more or less damage from another player, but it will give you easier/faster access to more resources, which could end up affecting your PvP experience.
