Kitouski's Post History

Is sad to see such stubbornness for something that Enmasse have talk about thousand times before.

I've only seen a short politically correct paragraph posted by a GM once and pointed to by everyone. What a lot of us would like is a real response, not "kay guise, it's offical cause I said so." and, "read this post were the GM says kay guise it's offical cause I said so."

People are so fed up and bored with this that to give you a better idea on whats really going on here.

Then don't reply, like them v

If you look at the thread, 90 people have posted in the thread and 1194 have only view it. Why do you think is that?

Well, about 20 of those was me alone re-clicking into this thread to see what's going on. Wonder how many other views is the same case.

Enmasse did not took their decision out of thing air.

Then like I first stated, an actual response would be nice. I think even he has seen the "Hay guise it's offical." but that doesn't do anything justice.

I support Enmasse because I want to play the game and have fun. All this Elin talks ever do is just assert enmasse decision about the elin censorship.

Protest schemes that don't cost the participants any inconvenience, hardship or money remain the most popular, despite their ineffectiveness. I sure hope it doesn't assert ENs decision, the only reason I'm here now with a copy of the game on preorder is to support Bluehole for a great game. By the time beta is over I get to decide if a poor localization team is enough of a reason to have to apologize to Bluehole and take my buisness elsewhere. There are plenty of other MMOs coming out this season, and a long list of shows I still want to watch. If it asserts their decision, they're losing one persons money over it and counting. Like you said, you were around when it went down, plenty of people left over this change.

You know why? right? Case close.

When I was new here and first really noticed the Elin thing was all over the forums and then some, I made an intro thread and a couple replies in those topics. There was no offical say about Elins, no offical thread about it, no statement anywhere someone like me could see. Actually, right now I couldn't tell you were to find that GMs statement. All I know is it leaves a pretty poor impression on me when being new and not understanding the situation, my post count goes from 3 to 1 with no lock, no explanation, and not even understanding how big of a back and forth issue this is until weeks later. My time I spent sitting down and typing out a long winded post like this was deleted and I didn't know why. That was an incredible put off to me.

If the company is going to make silly choices, they should at least try to back them with reasons that aren't equally silly.

Another point to make towards the whole "0.01%" thing. A paticular site that made an unoffical texture patch for Elin on US/EU has a pole in the corner asking if they want Elin to be uncensored again. Now let's disregard the fact that the only people who would've ended up on this site in the first place would legitamately want the change and are not trolling, and let's disregard percentages here. Let's also disregard the fact that plenty of people would disregard these polls and the fact that not every person for Elin being uncensored would actually look for a texture pack. 1,500 people voted they want the Elin changed. Even if half of that was trolling, which obviously unlikely, that's hundreds of people.

Sure this is a huge game, but as Mala stated quite a few times, there's no solid evidence either or, there's just people saying, "You're a minority, people who want it uncensored" and others saying, "there's been at least a million threads about this for 7 months now." and all EM as done is lock and delete the threads. The only reason I still post in these threads is this issue has never been properly addressed or acknowledged.
+1 to OP. Just another count to the people who'd like to see Elin's uncensored regardless of how obviously hopeless it is and likes to see these threads still popping up. At least OP is willing to state what he believes and is accurate in what he says; a lot of people canceled their preorders early beta due to the Elin thing, the number of supporters for decensoring were a lot more prominent before a chunk of them canceled preorders and left. So while I argue "0.01% of the player base" is absolutely ridiculious, it's not like the number hasn't dropped pretty heavily. More then 0.01% of the forum had to have found it an issue to start as a QQfest 7 months ago and still be a QQfest.

Here's to hoping En Masse at least reads these. I'm still on a trial period of not playing this unless it's a damn good game due to the way En Masse handles a lot of things and the Elin censorship alone. This post isn't necissarly meant for anyone so please don't go bashing me; if there was an easy way to send my complaints to EM I would, but they kind of made that kind of hard. Let's say OP is extreme, beating a dead house and is of the minority opinion, I can still respect the fact that he's just trying to be counted for his opinion, regardless of if someone listens or not. All we are are a bunch of people after all.

- Pet shops removed.
- Poor Elin armour changes.
- Bind on Pickup gear.

Pretty much nailed the three biggest things that irk me, especially the Elin armor change... technically not even allowed to texture swap ffs... but I won't go on about that... decided I got all excited though over how the game looked and played and I shouldn't let that go to waste instead of being overly prideful about my stance on some of their things, and instead TRY it first.

Shame next beta test is the exact same weekend as a convention I'm going to, not sure if I'll get to try it that beta. @_@
Came about here looking for a good MMO to play and this one looked most appealing by far with what's out and coming out so I decided to jump along for the ride. Not 100% sure if I'll be sticking around though I guess I'll find out when next beta comes around and I actually try things out. Kind of influenced by (and don't attack me/support me for saying this, don't want to see my intro blow up) if the localization changes bug me as much as it seems like it may.

Might as well add a bit about myself so this isn't ridiculously short...

I've got a collector's itch like no one's business. I collect anything video game and anime and have hundreds if not a couple thousand of games as well as any obscurities I can get my hands on. I'm cheap though too (Lol) so I find most of my stuff at things like goodwills and pawn shops generally... I probably haven't played even half of what I own. My favorite is Steins;Gate, if you haven't heard of it go watch it. Now. I love visual novels and is probably my favorite genre of game.

I'm gluten intolerant, AKA anything with wheat or flour kills me in short. Before thinking of giving Tera a try I've tried a lot of other Jap and Korean MMOs, most recently coming from Ragnarok Online and Cosmicbreak. Wanted to try something more "high dollar" now that I've got a computer worth more then my house though so here I am.

Errmmm... I'm out of stuff. HAI EVERYONE. Feel free to ask me anything, I don't bite. :3
Pretty certain I've seen a lot of people state clearly that they canceled their preorder and aren't empty threatening about. Also pretty sure I've seen plenty of people clearly state they're not preordering in the first place.

I think people are allowed to give their feedback, good or bad to a company if they're interested enough in their game to be at their forums. Just because you don't like their opinion on a decision with the game doesn't mean they should stfu and gtfo.

You don't like complainers, so you have the gall to make a thread on it and complain about them, and you find it an issue. Complainers find an issue with the game that they don't like, so they make a thread or post expressing it. Same story.

On topic, I actually have to disagree with the OPer here. Elin censorship isn't that big a deal. So honestly I don't understand why you would bring it up in the first place with your RNG arguement.

The censorship may not be a big deal, to you - but simply attempting to dismiss it as such isn't going to go very far in placating those of us who are unhappy with the decision or its results.

^ This. Everything is a matter of opinion on what decisions they make, you can't please everyone. Sure it's not a big deal to a lot of people, but this "tiny" issue has been pretty much the straw on the camels back that turned really wanting to preorder this game and being excited from trying it before and finally getting a NA release, to postponing that and wondering if they'd censor a rated M, obviously anime influenced fantasy game, what will they feel would be better for the western market next that I won't bide with? If they're keeping tallies, that's me and 3 friends I planned on dragging along that might or might not be in for the ride now in fear of what they might dumb down next. I've played too MMOs that have gone sour because the admins never seemed to address the smaller (or really in most cases the larger) croud.

Pets were another aspect I liked. Yes it has nothing to do with the main heart of the game, the combat but that's what I liked about it. Yes it was a "useless" distraction, but it was a fun little extra.

There won't be a perfect solution ever because you can't please everyone, you can't market to everyone and nothing is perfect, but at least I'd like to see complaints acknowledged. This horse has been beaten dead and raw I know, but I'm STILL miffed about the Elin armor.
