Yeah i ran into this issue then the it stoped and, then I was after a few trys able to log-in and all but cant play the server my main and main-alts are on(Tempest Reach)yet the servers are all online and working so the status page says.

Oh yea, anything related to the launcher seems to not work at all or is super slow, I try to go to the form/tools/ect with it and nothing happens or I have to leave the room, pour a shot, cook something, burn one or w.e and then finaly it works..But not everytime...

this game is so hard to get into and play anymore due to all the issues and down time after the f2p model launched, and I dont bealve that is the issue alone. I log-in to play, not find out why i cant..this is really old, Get it straight or just scrap it.

My specs

i7 3770
660ti Gainward Phantom

I had the same problem, perfect fps ~80 then game freezes for a second and fps drops down to 10-20. Changing graphics in the nvdia control panel doesnt help.

Solution (at least works on my computer):

Get MSI Afterburner and turn down your core clock.
My sytem runs stable on every game at 1040MHz (without GPU boost), but on Tera it crashes.
For Tera I turned it down to 925MHz (without GPU boost) and no more crashes, stable 60fps for many hours.
If you still expirience fps drops and crashes turn it lower than that.
You can make a profile on MSI Afterburner for Tera and switch it back to your usual clock speed when you play other games.


iv never used that program befor or precision x, now do they work? just a matter of sliding sliders?

considering the server issues and the extreme amounts of lag per Nexus that we have seen since the F2P conversion, Im actually surprised that we arent talking about server merges yet

the only thing EME achieved with F2P was dissapointing a larger amount of audience at the same time

I have this issue too about every 15-20 sec, perfect fps to really slow and almost non-respawnsive.

Spec's
CPU: AMD Phenom ii x4 965 BE 3.4
GPU: GTX 650 Ti
RAM: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws 1600 mhz
PSU: XT650
Standered HDD - gonna upgrade to SSD sometime...
MOBO: ASUS M4N68T -M V2

I think its to do with the patch everyone talking about.

huh? TERA NA servers are in Chicago and AION's is at the old NcAustin base in Texas

Also I guess there was a patch at the time I was installing these new parts and reforumating the HDD and redoing everything? So when I was DL tera and patching and was away from the PC I didnt notice the patch. Chould this be the case with my new found lag ect?

Ok so I did some minor hardwear upgrading and such but I seem to get worse lag/ruberbanding/choppiness then I did when I had really outdated parts.

Spec's

PS: The lag/ruberbanding/choppiness seems at its worse as I get close to other players, npc or right befor pulls in dungeon groups. or about every 15-20 sec.
