Obviously Enmasse hasn't figured out the best way to pacify thier customers.... the gov'ts of the world have been doing it for years. They say they have to raise taxes by 10%, people freak out they eventually come around and say "oh we worked it out and now it's only 5%" and the people let out a sigh of relief that it's only 5% and not 10%.
so tell your customers, we have to perfom server maint, for 2 hours (instead of 1 hour) and if the servers come up before then, you LOOK GOOD. if it somehow takes 2 hours then everything is as expected...
problem solved.
oh and BTW you guys (Enmasse or whoever is running this damn thing) really need to use your NEWS PAGE that's in the LAUNCHER for passing along information like this.
It just makes sense. that's the first thing everyone sees when they load the game up, SO ALL THE RELEVENT NEWS RELATED TO THE GAME SHOULD BE THERE AND NOT HERE ONT HE FORUMS.
It's just common sense.

Wow all of you are so nice about this... How many pre-orders here lol. 12 hour maint cut into pre order headstart and now another maintenance disguised as a server restart. Glad I get free play for 30 days. This keeps up and they wont be gettin my sub after that. Been involved with many launches and this seems to be the most disorganized.
