LaJolla's Post History

These people that think it is so much fun to spawn camp and these developers that think that it is just a part of the game, well, I guess you are, let's say, late 20s early 30s? Yep. Thought so. The age of entitlement, bereft of being taught any values beyond winning and that you are a lil snowflake, deserving everything and with a cost of nothing!

Once upon a time they addressed spawn-camping, making it a punishable offense. Then they changed that to jumping into the spawn camp area and meteoring as well. Now, it seems they find no fault with it either.

I'm just wondering why developers of a game would find this to be a reasonable outcome of an activity and shrug their shoulders at it. There are plenty of ways to prevent this from happening and yet nothing is done to promote a healthy game play.

Losing is okay. Winning is okay. But this is plain bullying for the reward of kill points. Yah, sounds like that generation all right. The Age of Entitlement. Never taught the reward of losing a good fight because they are so intent upon being on top.

All that said, when I am on the side that is being spawn camped, I use my skills and abilities to get out of there and do what I can to help others to get out too. And I don't care if I die or not. I mean, really, there is only inconvenience for dying in this game...

The dailies give you quite a bit of money, if you do all 20 per day.

I stopped doing hard mode BT sloths on my priest because it just took to damned long.

As Archaya said above, you can duo or trio ET, LoT and ACNM quite easily (if geared a bit).

Also you can do the short version of Sirjuka's Gallery pretty easily, and then sell the silver talents you get from that.

But my best suggestion to you, you may not like. Roll a warrior or a sorc and use them for farming. That's what I have done. Right now there are a lot of people leveling up and it would be veritably easy to find someone to duo with you or get instanced-matched. So it shouldn't take you too long to do that and get them leveled up to 60.
After the patch today, I can get through all the cinematics but when it is time to load the character screen I get a warning that the Launcher has closed and the game can't run without it, and the Character screen just says "Tera Not Responding".

Of course, the Launcher has NOT been closed, I'm looking right at it. So now I can't get into the game.

Any suggestions?
When you are talking about RP-PVP, remember, in the BGs and Arenas you are matched with people from the other servers, some who have been playing for a while and have superior gear. And that means you will die easy and quickly if you run up against them.

So, you have a chance with Fraywind +12, and it is a good way to start. [And it also depends on your ability to evade and keep yourself unstunned and how well your team will peel for you.] As you are doing the BGs you will pretty much see and desire for more protection. The conjunct robe offers that. At +12 it offers 49 points minimum of decrease in pvp damage, plus other stats for less damage when knocked down, etc. and endurance.

If you do Nexus consistently, you will gain the points to purchase the robe and the mats, but you also have the chance, a good one, to get the Smartypants as a drop in the Traverse to craft your Conjunct robe.

And as a priest, you really don't have to grind to get gear the way the others do, as your weapon is relatively easy to get.
Just saying... dueling other players and coming up against them in a real pvp situation is completely different.

You may think you can glyph worrisome damage, but you can't. You can maybe do some damage with reflect or get a kill with a fiery escape or Plague of Exhaustion, but those things are secondary to your immediate purpose, which is to keep the other people of your BG alive, hoping they come to your rescue as well when you get focused upon by 12 million guys (okay 5) from the other side.

Also, I assure you, in BGs and 3v3 your job is not boring at all. Perhaps in PvE it can get boring, but I find most dungeons get that way after enough practice.
To correct Zinxi, you need to craft conjunct gear the following:
1 Viictor's orthoclase + 1 Agnitor's Plagioclase + 1 BG item +1 Nexus item for boots and gloves.
2 each of the mats for the robe + 1 each of the Nexus and BG robe..
3 each of the mats for the weapon. (Only, you don't need to worry about the weapon. The Insight (Nexus Agnitor) weapon is the best option for a priest at the moment.)

All of the Nexus and BG gear drops from the Nexus Traverse last boss. Except the weapon.

I understand about not liking PvE, as I am not that big a fan myself. However, just doing BGs or 3v3 will not cut it because the way the game is set up right now, in order to get the best gear you must do ACNM (for the VM recipes & fodder) through MCHM (for the mats for VM and for Regent gear and fodder). Also, farming ET normal and KN for MES.

Or have lots and lots and lots of gold to buy the stuff from people who do farm those dungeons.

Well, sometimes the name is changed because people have reported them.

And I don't get why they changed your name to that, unless the GM changing the name knew someone in high school that was called a whxre and had that name, lol.
Hmm. I suppose you are right. When I got my conjunct, Queen wasn't available yet. so if Regent is easier to obtain than Conjunct, then that's the best choice.

Usually the GMs are pretty humorous with their new usernames. What did the GM rename u?
