CBT2 went great... a lot of us were able to try out the second dungeon, SM (I forget actual name - heh), which was awesome. I hope we get to try out some more pvp next CB.
Man you got some lucky duels. They practicably just stood in front of you or maybe strafed a little. I wish I fought some people like that this last weekend but all of them know to run around me and tried to stay as far as they could until I used to much of my MP.
I tried some duels as a Zerker this weekend and they were hard... I only won one against a Slayer but he beat me all the other times. It is just easy to tell when a Zerker is charging the skills and to avoid them or counter them with and Invul. like the Warrior. Even though I am convinced the Berserker is the worse dueler in this game, I am still going to play one because they are going to be awesome in group PvP. Who really cares that much about duels when group pvp is where it is at? :P

It all comes down to race... and how you want to be built. Big and tough, muscular and athletic/agile, or little and "cute". I wouldn't play the Elin because they just don't look cool. I did notice that in the character creation a few of the sides have the same armor... like Human and Popori have some of the same armor (I noticed this with the Heavy Armor) and Castanic and Aman have some of the same armor as well (again, noticed in heavy armor). I should mention though, I noticed this with male characters... I didn't look at the females because I don't play female characters. Also, if you want to be a rare race... definitely not be a Castanic female because they are everywhere. If you want to be a rare race, be High Elf or maybe Baraka.
I think the heavy armor in this game looks awesome and I am going to be a Berserker. Check out this site (http://tera-online.cc/gallery/races/) to compare the types of armor for the different races and sexes. The most popular heavy armor for males so far is between human males and aman males... I think they both look awesome. I am either going to be human male, aman male or castanic male.

I think it all comes down to race and armor type.
For the Light and Robe armors it will be:
Castanic Female
Human Female
Castanic Male
Aman Male
Human Male
Elin
Popori
High Elf Female
Aman Female
High Elf Male
Baraka
BUT... for Heavy Armor, it will be:
Castanic Female
Human Male (really jumped up the list)
Human Female
Aman Male
Aman Female
Baraka
Castanic Male
Elin
Popori
High Elf Female
High Elf Male
So, basically we will see crazy amounts of Castanic Females and Human Females, no matter the armor type. But then since there are only two classes that wear heavy armor, we won't see as many Human Males... but I think they will be in the top 5 of popular race/sex out of the 11. And it will most definitely be mostly females like it always is, especially with the armor styles in this game. I personally don't really play female characters... I am trying to decide if my male Berserker will be Human, Aman or Castanic.

Sorry, I just realized I messed up on that link. I really wish there was an edit feature on these forums. The URL is right, just delete the period at the end.

Check out Vigilant Addiction! We are a gaming community that has played many games together for over a decade. We also are not about being a large 100+ guild/community, but we are not small by any means. We care more about quality instead of quantity... if you are good at what you do and like to socialize/have fun with your guildmates, check VA out. We play to have fun and do not require anything else from the members other then no drama. We do have an age limit so the guild is made up of adults only, with the average age being around 26. Since we are all adults here, we understand real life comes first and we don't require the members to be hardcore... so we are made up of casual and hardcore players. We will be on a PvE server for Tera, but we do have PvE'ers and PvP'ers. Anyways, here is some more detailed info about VA:
- Server Type: PvE w/Battlegrounds (Central or Eastern)
- Timezone: Central
- Raid/Event Times: Tuesday / Thursday - 7:10pm & 8:10pm ~ Friday / Saturday / Sunday - 7:10pm
- Voice Communication: Mumble - If you don't have a *USB* Head/Mic you will need to invest in one. Push-To-Talk Required. (They're like $30 and we've even footed the bill for some people in the past)
- Age Group: 21 - 45 (Ages Younger and Older are only by Exception)
- Community Activeness: High. (We expect high forum, email, texting, messenger usage!) E-Mails are provided. Facebook optional.
- Required Amount of Previous Gaming Experience: At least 2+ Years of MMO Experience
Anyways, I am not very good at this kind of stuff and we have plenty of people who can say it better then me... so check out our "About Us" at our site here: http://www.vigilantaddiction.com/about. Then check out the forums and apply if you are interested! :)

It depends on the player and class. I loved playing with the controller as a melee class, but it was pretty hard as a range class.

I have a G13 but I didn't try to use it. I only tried melee classes really, I did do some range but not much, and I started with an Xbox controller and didn't try anything else. But if I was playing a range class, I would probably for with a mouse and G13.
So is it easier to play using a controller or keyboard? This is the question...

LOL - Low dmg for the Sorc? That is crazy talk. Later they do a lot of dmg and probably the second highest burst dmg class behind the Berserker. The Priest did do a lot of dmg at the lower levels but I think that will even out and they become primary healers later in the levels.
