FYI, when I used the term fanboy, it was meant for those that troll here and those that yell 'GTFO' anytime someone mentions anything negative towards the game. As for, I was Imerely adding opinion after p,saying CBT, OBT and release. I wholeheartedly admit my dislike for grinding to get something unless I feel it is worth my time to do it, which is rare.
So far, I do not see anything to make score much higher than a 65-70. I keep having the 'why am I wasting my time doing this?' feeling. It seems that I am not alone.
I still disagree. You may have that feeling now, but you're still playing. Also, may I ask how many hours of enjoyment you did garner from the game, you know, before you started feeling like the game is a waste of time yet continued to play anyway? I'd ration somewhere in the multiples of hundreds.
This is a scenario from the IGN Tera review, so a completely different situation, but I remember seeing a comparison image. On one half, Tera was listed with its 6.5 or whatever it got, and on the other, Party Babiez (or something) for the Wii with some score around an 8. Irony at its finest.
I haven't logged on all week and really dont have the desire to, that is what I'm getting at. It was great and shiny and cool for a month.. Then the luster wore off at lvl 48 at the thought of more of the same but different... There are other reasons for my loss of fascination but we will not get into that.

I read the review, and it's pretty spot on. It makes a lot of the same core complaints as some of the other recent reviews (which TERA fans haven't been too happy about). In fact, it has a lot of the same complaints that I have seen on this forum since beta.
An entertaining take on combat, but non-challenging gameplay undermines the fun. A beautiful looking world that lacks depth, cohesion, and soul. Extremely basic quests which are just too far below the bar more recent MMOs have set. Not enough gameplay features to break up the monotony of grinding (which makes EME's decision to remove several systems even stranger).
So, no real surprises there.
I'm sure fans will just accuse them of being on the take, along with every other reviewer that isn't taken in by TERA's pretty window dressing.
the fanboys here will just ignore the true point of the review and that that a low rating equates to less new subscribers because .. Guess what.? A lot of people DO read reviews.. Why else would there even be any if they didn't ..
I also agree with the review. The game is pretty, it's cool at first but the shine goes away quickly. More kill 20 of this, take this message to him, go tell her that.. Kill 15 of this , run a dungeon, run it again... Seems like what the other mmo's do as well.
those that whish to say otherwise i respect your opinions, but from current chatting to and with other guilds and logging the actives and inactives in guild and collective sum the pops are dying, game is stale at 60 apart from dungeon greind money grind for ench gear and nexus is a joke people are leaving left right and center... so what is left to do???

EME can't pass the buck on this one. DRI is only a billing company. EME is the company that gets all the money and they are responsible for this horse[filtered] fiasco.
